Name: Krixus Mar
Age: 600 years old
Faction: Chaos space marine
Patron: Chaos undivided
Position: Champion of Chaos
As a Champion of Chaos, Krixus has been granted several abilities beyond even those of his space marine heritage, chief among them being the bestowal of senses far beyond what he was capable of before swearing his soul to chaos, granting him even greater speed as a result. Speed so great, in fact, that he is often little more than a blur to his enemies, raining a dozen devastating blows down upon them before they can even react, let alone defend themselves. The second most potent of these gifts is great strength, moreso even than the strongest of his former brothers. His third and final gift is that of resiliency, allowing him to withstand blows that only a space marine in terminator armor could hope to survive. All of these gifts combine to make him an exceptional warrior, almost without peer among the servants of Chaos.
Chaos marine power armor, nemesis force sword, two sets of retractable lightning claws, a storm shield, and a lathe pattern jump pack.
Formerly a member of the Knights of the Veil, Krixus was recruited from a barbarian world very near the same time as Vordran was discovered, and the two men grew and trained and fought together for more than three hundred years before Krixus chose another path. Being a member of the Order of the Blade, Krixus was always in the thickest of the fighting, and a swordsman of nearly unparalleled skill. It was in the midst of one of these very common melees that Krixus found himself separated from his squad and surrounded on all sides by heretic traitors and daemon spawn when he first met the daemon prince that would lure him to the side of chaos. The twisted mass of flesh and bone promised him freedom and riches and pleasures untold, should be simply throw down his oaths to the emperor and swear his soul to Chaos. As can be expected of a space marine, he stoutly refused, expecting the horde that surrounded him to then attack and force him to make his final stand, as even a space marine is not invincible. Instead, the prince simply nodded and left, ordering his minions to let Krixus pass.
Once he had returned to his company, he told no one of the strange encounter, nor of those that followed. No matter where he went, no matter what campaign he fought, the prince always seemed to be there. Eventually, Krixus began to ask questions, curious about why such a creature would be prone to reason, and it was only a matter of time before the hooks he'd planted in Krixus' heart began to pull him steadily closer to chaos. It was not until their forty-second meeting that Krixus finally gave in and swore his soul to chaos, and it did not take him long to become one of its foremost champions.
