Amy's life was always hard on her growing up for her parents loved to spend money......on themselves. In the past she used to have to beg her parents to buy her new clothes when she could no longer fit them or when when there was no food in the house she used to have to beg for that too. She never really had nice toys or ever got to go to camps and stuff like that. So when she was at working age she got a job so she could by clothes, food, and things for hobbies herself. But her parents had kept on spending even when they had no money, they would max out their credit cards and create a lot of debt. But they would not care about the debt and just kept on spending money like they were the richest people on earth. While Amy tried to save her money and created a budget for herself so she could go to college and get a good decent paying job. But one day when she was out buying some essentials and went to pay she found out her bank account was empty and over drawn. She was very confused by that for last she checked she had at least 2 thousand dollars in the bank. She called the bank and found out her mother had added herself on her bank account and took all her money and created a credit card without her permission leaving Amy with the debt. Once she found out she closed her bank account down and the credit card her mother opened. Though she was still stuck with the debt and things only got worst because the place she was working at got closed down due to owner retiring and his kids did not want to take over the business. So she had became jobless once she graduated high school. But thankfully she had good friends that helped her get a job at the maid agency where she spent a couple years learning how to be a maid before the agency fully hired her. Once she was hired by the agency she finally got her first job and was glad that she finally was able to earn some money again.

Amy was at the workers apartment getting things put together since she was going to be working as a maid in a mansion. "Man lucky you girl a rookie going off to see if she can work at a mansion for a rich guy." One of her friends said as she smoked on the balcony watching Amy get her bag together. "Just be careful dear rich people tend to be really big snobs."Another friend said as she was getting ready to go to a one day job meaning some one hired her to just clean for the day. "I know but I will be fine besides I have to pay all my parents debt off that they left me and thanks to them I can't have a bank account anymore." She said as her friends sighed for Amy had told the police about what her parents did and they were on the run. "Well hope things work out at this job sweetie we are rooting for you." They said as Amy smiled fixing her maid outfit and waved by to her friends as she took the bus to the mansion. Once there she walked up to the door and rang the door bell and waited for someone to answer.

Ah wealth. How it divided the world between two ever lasting factions; the rich and the poor. It was because of this very unfortunate truth that the Henderson family sought to invest a fair majority of their savings into only the finest businesses. Be it oil, electricity, or even nuclear energy, no enterprise was safe from the powerful family. All the money, all the glory...how boring it really was. Cause honestly, who wanted to be bored like that every single day of one's life?

That's what Phillip Henderson felt anyway. Having been the latest member of their ever increasing family, young Phillip finally struck it out on his own in the world, purchasing a fine mansion in the middle some shady woods. But alas, Phillip never did actually think these kind of things through to the end. Why in fact, he forgot the most essential aspect to any luxury home: a cute maid to go with it!

And so Phillip waited anxiously alone on the clear front steps of his newly acquired home, eager to meet and greet his very own maid. Sporting a dress shirt, a red bow tie, and a black vest to match his eyepatch, Phillip sprang to the door immediately once he heard it ring in and alert him of his mystery guest arrival.

"Please be cute, please be cute, please be cute, please be..."

Opening the front door, Phillip saw a girl about his age with long brown hair and a typical blue maid uniform. So this was to be his servant. "Perfect! Simply marvelous!" He took in the full sight of her, grinning at what he saw. "Oh you'll do just fine! Hey what's your name? My name's Phillip of the Henderson family! Uh...it's um, nice to meet you."

Grinning sheepishly, he took her hand into his to lead her further into his home. "Here, let me show you where you'll be staying from now on. I'm hiring you for life Ms. Maid!"

Amy jumped a little when he opened the door all of a sudden right after she rang the doorbell and freaked a little at what he just said before asking for her name. "Um I am Amy Jones from the maid agency and its a pleasure to meet you Mr.Henderson." She said as she bowed for one of her teachers was from Japan and he thought it would show more respect to bow before thier employer. She looked back up at him before he grabbed her hand and pulled her inside and got shocked when he said that she was going to be his maid for life when she hoped to just work off her debt and then save up so she could go to college and get a new job that pays well. But she could not tell her employer that for he looked so happy and excited when he saw her though she never heard of an employer being happy to have a maid or be this excited by one. So she just let him pull her and showed her around his place for it will make her job easier when she walked around to do certain chores for him.

As she followed him she had noticed the eye patch and was wondering how he got it but decided to not ask afraid that she would be rude by asking. "Um to let you know I do know how to cook and I can pretty much make a lot of differnt dishes so if you have anything you would want to eat please let me know." Amy said to Philip as she followed him around his place and she had to admit it was pretty big for just one person to live in it.

The mansion was indeed pretty big. Enormous even. Huge marble columns decorated each hallway, comprising of the main layout of the household. Crimson carpet pooled hungrily at their feet with golden and purple deigns layering the walls of each and every room. He was to live here, all by himself? Well, not anymore anyway at least. Phillip let go of Amy's hand as he continued the tour of the place.

"Pretty fancy, huh? Believe it or not, this is really one of the smaller mansions. You need a lot more money to get the ones big enough to hold whole fields in it." Turning back to his new maid, he smiled in assurance. "So Amy, uh, you want me to call you by your first name? I know it's strange for me to do that since I'm your employer, but I'm really the only one in this house now. Along with you of course."

Stopping in his tracks, the boy with the eyepatch frowned at a sudden realization. "I've got so much wealth here...I really don't need a job. You're here working for the both of us...hey, why don't we just have some fun on the first day? You don't have to start working now, right? I am your boss after all."

Amy just followed him looking at how everything was pretty over the top and it was certainly not her taste at all for she liked simple things and a nice small cozy house. But then again that could just be because she grew up with hardly anything and was making the best of what she had back then. But she had no clue why someone would live alone in a mansion this big and only have one maid. To her it made no sense at all but she was not there to question she was there to work and pay her debt off or better to say her parents debt that they place on her.

She listened to Philip talking about how fancy his place was and all but she was not that into it but just smiled to make it look like she was somewhat happy. "Um you can call me Amy Mr. Henderson and to be honest you are my first boss I am a brand new maid in the agency." She explained to him as she followed behind him looking at the place wondering why people would want to spend so much money on this crazy stuff.

Though she froze in her tracks when he stopped and turned towards her to explain he had so much money that he did not need a job but when he said that she would be working for herself and him that part she did not get. "Um no to be rude but is it not best to invest or something so that way the money will not run dry one day or if something bad happens." She said knowing from experience having her mother hack her bank account swiping all her money then leaving her with credit card debt. "And um what do you mean by something fun?" She asked for she expected to start working right away.

Philip saw Amy's smile and internally flinched. That false smile; he was used to seeing that specific gesture. He was royalty after all; it was a needed skill to learn when someone practiced ill faith. Still, he couldn't help but feel saddened when he realized Amy didn't find his home too appealing. And when she started talking about investments and the like...he frowned for the slightest of moments. However, he kept up his own smile before she could notice his disappointment.

"Ah, sorry about that! It's just...I hear a lot about that stuff from my family so...ah, what was I thinking! Don't listen to me!" He waved his hands around in an embarrassed manner, trying to pass the whole thing off as a joke. "Ha, don't worry about it! When I said something fun...I meant maybe watch some T.V. or play some games...but that wouldn't be professional, huh? Heh, sorry to bother you again. You're just here for the pay so just ignore my crazy ideas! I'll, uh, leave you to your job then." Suddenly quiet, Phillip flashed another half-smile to his maid before climbing up the stairs.

"Your room is two hallways to the left," he called out, before trudging back to his own chambers. Finally alone, Phillip sighed deeply before staring at the massive ceiling above him. "What the hell were you saying Phillip? Of course she needs to work...dad's always saying that people need to earn their luxuries. There's no goofing off in the real world. Remember?" He smiled sadly to no one in particular as he touched the eyepatch around his face wistfully. It was a repeated process, and really that was the whole point of even investing in this mansion. He wanted to escape the strict nature of his blood kin. Too bad it didn't get him any far. "Well, at least she's competent for the both of us I guess....I forgot to tell her what I wanted for dinner. Eh...she can make whatever."

Suddenly feeling dejected, he entered his own bedroom and sealed the doors behind him.

Amy got confused by his sudden behavior as she watched him get all frazzled by the fun thing when really most of her life she had to work once she was of working age even when little she worked around the house just to make it livable half of the time and so she could eat for her mother would never cook for her. So Amy really did not know how to have fun she would not even go out with her friends when they went clubbing or anything back when she was learning on how to be a maid. She felt bad from for he did not understand what she meant and felt like she should tell him that. Once he told her where her room was she went there and placed her bag down not really wanting to unpack yet but she did grab her cook book that she liked to cook from and could not wait to cook some of the stuff she could not do back home. "Hmmmm I better ask if he is allergic to something." She said as she left and went to try to find his room for it took a while until she finally found it and knocked on it. "Um Mr. Henderson I am going to go make dinner I wanted to ask if you are allergic to any kinds of food or ingredients?" She asked as she stood outside the door as she hugged her cook book. "And also please forgive me about earlier to be honest I do not know how to have fun I grew up pretty much trying to take care of my self and started working at a young age so I don't know what it is like so please forgive me for not fully explaining that part." She said through the door as she stood before it for she did feel bad. Sure she needed the job to finally be out of debt and no longer have to worry about it so she could finally live a free life even if it meant she would be a maid for the rest of her life but she would finally be free of debt.

She stood in front of the door waiting for a response and hope she did not upset him.

Phillip opened his door to smile at Amy cheerfully. Always with the smile..."No, no, please. I should have realized your financial situation. I guess that's why you're a maid in the first place...anyway, I'm sorry to distract you from your work like that. I should have known better of your background. I did hire you after all." Shrugging the misgivings off, Phillip walked off in the direction of the kitchen and beckoning for her to follow him.

"As far as I know, I don't have any allergies...hmm....since you've never had any real fun before, how about I help you with the cooking? That way I can make exactly what I want. Sound like a plan?" A few hallways-and maybe some stair cases-later, Phillip led his maid to the kitchen. The place looked like it belonged to a fine dining establishment instead of an actual home. Then again, this place was a rather expensive mansion to begin with. The kitchen practically had everything any food advocate could possibly dream and desire for and then some. Knives of all kinds, ingredients of all smells and sizes, and even a toaster without a plug!

"Well, will this do? Since we'll be working together on this, I figured you could at least teach me some of your tricks...ok a lot...ok all of it...please teach me how to cook." Phillip's entire aura seemed to gleam with newfound excitement and obvious enthusiasm. "See, this way it's not a total waste of your time and I get to learn something so I don't rely on you forever! Well, sounds fun, right?"

Amy looked at him and was glad that he was smiling and she looked at him as he started walking and she followed him. "Yes I have to work that is why I am a maid my last job I ended up getting laid off because the buisness got closed down and...............I found out I was in a lot of credit card debt some how." She siad to him. "And I am pretty much broke." She said to him as she followed him to the kitchen after walking down the hallways. "Ok how can you know where to go I feel like this place is like a maze...this place must be pretty lonely to live in by yourself." She said as she followed into the kitchen and her eyes lite up once in it.

"Oh wow this kitchen is amazing." She siad as she smiled brightly at the kitchen for she actually loved cooking and wanted to go to college for it and become a chef or maybe run her own diner or resturant. "Wow this is a chefs or cooks dream to have a kitchen like this." She said as she looked around the place with a smile and it was a real smile. "You can have differnt chefs from all over the world and still have room for more." She said with a big smile as she looked at the place. "I always dreamed of cooking in a kitchen like this in a resturant." She said feeling like dream came true.

She looked at Philip and smiled happily. "Sure I can teach you a few dishes even though some I am just lerning myself since I am mainly self taught." She said with a smile on her face as she found him an apron and palced it on him and tying it around his waist. "And this might be fun teaching you how to cook since I never done anything like that before." She said with a smile. "So what is it you want to try cooking or you can take a look at this cookbook and see what looks good to you." Amy said to him as she held her cookbook to him.

Phillip grinned when he saw Amy's eyes practically sparkle upon witnessing the sheer size of the kitchen first hand. "Pretty neat, right? Anyway, you said something about being low on cash, huh? Well...here's another idea up for you. Well, more like an offer really." As he turned towards her, Phillip's single eye reflected an actual serious nature for once. "Like you said, this place gets pretty lonely around here. You teaching me how to cook...just like this...having fun...well, if we do more of that, I promise to double your salary. As long as you keep me some lively company, I'd be willing to help you out in any way I can."

He smiled sheepishly. "Besides, no employee of mine will be caught dead with a minimum pay check around here! But you won't have to decide about that stuff now. Let's make dinner and then discuss your future here over food. For now though..." Phillip flipped through the intricate cookbook offered to him, his smile soon dropping at all the complicated dishes before him. "Er...isn't there something simple we can try out first...hey, how about this one?"

He showed a single recipe to Amy in a proud manner. It was a pizza dish comprised mainly out of seafood ingredients. "Eveyone likes pizza, right?"

Amy listened to Philip talk about how neat his kitchen was and she has to admit it was amazing to be in a kitchen like the one she is in right now. She listened to him explain about having fun once in a while and keeping him company which she did not mind it sounded very interesting. "Sure that sounds like a good idea I just hope I can keep you entertained." She said with a big smile on her face still for she was just happen but she was shocked with doubling her salary. "No you do not have to go that far I am willing to do all of that and a normal pay check I do not want to take advantage of you." She said for she was not like her parents that took advantage of people kindness to get all the money the people had to support their crazy life style. "It is very sweet of you but like I said I rather be paid what I was told and still would love to keep you company and have some fun." Amy said with a true smile on her face showing she was not lying and was really happy.

"Oh nice choice on the pizza its really fun to make actually lets first start working on the dough." She said as she grabbed all the ingredients and placed them on the counter and grabbed the mixing bowl. She put her book on something to keep it open and up right so she could read it and started to go through the steps with him on making the pizza dough first. She even let him pour the ingredients in for she though it was best to help out or get some hands on experience while learning. Once done with the dough she wrapped it up in plastic wrap. "Now we let the dough rise for a while in the fridge and next is to get the topping and since this recipe calls for seafood we have to cook some of this stuff before we put it on the pizza." She said with a smile as she grabbed the seafood they need for the pizza. "Alright then now we got our we can cook it now we have to peel shrimp." She said as she showed him how to peel a couple shrimp. "Alright now you try to peel." She said with a smile as she gave him one to give it a try.

As Amy kindly refused up on his offer of a bonus, Phillip shrugged, but was happy that she would at least accompany him. "Right then...shrimp...is that like lobster but smaller? Baby lobsters?" Phillip stared at the small piece of seafood with an intense glare, not quite sure how exactly to go about it. Maybe he had to use scissors or something? He tried to remember how Amy did it just now...aw geez, this stuff really was harder than it looked! How was he supposed to learn anything at this kind of rate?

"Have no fear! I will solve this most puzzling puzzlements of....er, puzzles." Taking a small knife, Phillip brought the blade down towards the outer layer of the shrimp, carefully lining it up....and proceeded it bring it down in one mighty chop. As expected, the thing was cut in two. However, the front portion of the shrimp was inadvertently launched in the air; Phillip watched it so, his eyes keeping track of its dancing, airborne form, as if in a trance.

"Uh, Amy? It's...hey look out!" The shrimp piece did a double turn, letting gravity handle the rest as it plummeted back down to earth. It landed right in the middle of the pizza dough, giving off a loud and wet plopping noise. Phillip looked at his maid sheepishly.

"Um....oops."

Amy laughed a little at what he was saying about a shrimp being a baby lobster. "No a shrimp is a different type of fish and its very different from lobster." She said with a smile. "Oh and thank you I need to get the hot water running so I can cook the lobster." She said as she got a pot and filled it with water and placed it on the stove and turned it on so it would start heating the water up. "The recipe does not call for lobster but I wanted to add an extra ingredients to see how it would turn out and its to replace an ingredient that I can not find." She said with a smile as she got the lobster out and let Philip work on peeling the shrimp. "Do not hesitate to ask for help." She told him with a smile as she got the lobster cooking. Tough when she heard Philip call her name then the sound on the dough she turned around and laughed a little. "My did not expect this at all." She said with a smile and walked over to Philip.

She took the knife out of his hand and gave him a shrimp and pretty much had her hands over his and help him peel the shrimp the way she does it. "See just like that its easy to get off since I already devein them for you so you just need to peel." She said showing him again to take the end where it was cut and peel it right off. "See just like that now you try and this time without a knife please." She said with a smile on her face as she went over and took the shrimp off the dough and threw it away. "Once you are done I will show you a fun trick with the pizza dough." She said to him with a smile at him as she took the lobster out once it was done cooking and placed it down to cool off before taking the tail meat out and cutting it up into smaller pieces. And Philip could tel she was good with a knife as she cut it up. Once Philip finished, with her helping her finish up she got the dough.

"Alright now the next part is rolling the dough out we placed plenty of flour on the counter so the dough will not stick along with our hands then we roll it our then you get to do this." Amy said as she took the dough as started to twirl it in her hands and tossed it in the air and caught it again. "Want to give it a try?" She asked for she made plenty of dough just in case.

Phillip tensed just a little when he felt Amy's hands over his when peeling the shrimp. "Aha, when I wanted to learn how to cook, I didn't expect there to be so much...um, physical contact involved." He tried to laugh it off nervously, hoping his own maid didn't notice the discomfort of their closeness together. "I am your boss after all...I think I can handle it now," he said once all the shrimp had been taken cafe of. Time went by fast, and the boy with the eye-patch couldn't help but admire Amy's skill in the culinary field. "Whoah....you said you wanted to be a chef, right Amy? Did you do a lot of cooking back home?"

Upon asking such a thing, Phillip immediately shook his head in apology. "Er, sorry if that's a personal subject! I didn't mean to intrude like that! But, I am curious about your background. Considering you now work for me and all that..." His voice trailing off, Phillip have Amy a puzzled look when she mentioned pizza dough tricks. "Don't tell me your gonna spin it on one finger like those fancy chefs with the cliche hats, right?" He was probably thinking of basketballs; but no, that's not what Amy did. What she did however, amazed him greatly.

"W-Wow. Amy you're...sorry, it's just that I'm kinda useless compared to you. I guess that's why you're a maid...sorry, that wasn't funny at all." He certainly had a habit of rapidly apologizing a lot. When Amy asked if he wanted to try, a goofy grin spread from ear to ear. "Sure!" Without thinking, Phillip took a patch of dough, tossed it around in his hands, before throwing it up high in the air...only to pause when it didn't come back down again.

"Huh?" He looked up to see the gooey dough plastered right on to the kitchen ceiling. "That...doesn't count."

"Somestimes you have to do this to help others learn for it helps then feel how it is done." Amy said as she let go of him with a smile. "Yes you are my boss and you are my student but alright sorry about that." She siad with a smile as she got back to work on getting everything put together with the other seafood but when he got amazed with her cooking skills she looked at him and smiled. "I do not mind talking about that but yeah I cooked a lot my parents were never really around so I had to learn a lot of things on my own and I found that I really loved to cook so I decided back then that I wanted to be a chef." Amy explained with a smile on her face showing she was not bothered when he asked her that question.

When Philip asked about about spining the dough on her finger liked a basketball. "I think that is mainly from a cartoon.....and a basketball." She said to him and laughed when his eyes sparkled up when he saw her do what she did with the dough and watched him do it before she started laughing a little at where the dough ended up. "Don't worry who knows how many times I did that when I was first learning how to make pizza and doing that toss trick." She siad to him with a smiling and lettinghim know it was a common mistake that all first timers make. "Let me go get a ladder so I can get that clean up before it lands on one of us then we will try it again." She siad with a smile as she went and found a ladder and got the dough down so it would not fall on someones head like a cartoon character. Once she did that and put the ladder back she got the other dough she made and gave him one and started to go through step by step with him so he would be able to do it succecfully this time.

"Try not to rush through it just start getting your dough to stretch ina circle form and then keep it up and when you think you got it toss it up." Amy said as she did it and caught it. 'Then you catch it and keep at it for a little bit then you place it down and then we roll the edges up a little then we get the sauce and pour it in the middle first then we use the laddle and swirl it around to spread." She said as she showed him with her pizza dough. "Then we get our cheese you can put as much or as little as you want on it." She said as she spread the cheese and then did the topping. "Once we are done with that then we put it in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes." Amy finished explaining to Philip with a smile. She was a really patient girl so when he had a problem she took the time to teach him.

Needless to say, Phillip had to agree that Amy was an extremely patient girl, almost like a mother. Not the nagging kind of course. Although it took some time and much needed effort, the two not only scraped the dough off the ceiling eventually, but Phillip even managed a single successful dough flip...after the result of several different tries and failures first hand. Finally, a full pizza was baking to a golden crisp inside the oven, ready to be consumed. Near the kitchen was an dining area that was much more akin to an actual ballroom. It was here where Phillip led his maid and the two sat until their dinner was ready.

"I had no idea a maid had to learn all these different skills! Though it makes sense since a servant is supposed to be well versed in...pretty much anything I guess." Resting his head in his hands, the young master of the house leaned in closer to face Amy. "You know, I gotta wonder; why a maid? I mean, I'd understand if you wanted to work at some maid cafe somewhere, but you don't seem the type to constantly switch costumes like that. Was being a maid just more convenient for you at the time?"

Amy followed Philip to the dining room and was shocked at how huge it was pretty much like a ballroom and was amazed by the size of it for there can be many parties held in a place like this. She palced the Pizza down as she listend to him as she cut the pizza up and placed a couple slices to start him off with. "Hmm yeah a maid needs to know how to clean, cook, wash, and other stuff so we can make the people we work for life easier." She siad to him with a smile at him. But when he said why he was wondering why she choose to be a maid. "Actually I worked in a cafe at first but the place got closed down and getting another job was hard and I did not have enough money to go to college so my friends who are maids also and helped me get training to be a maid and got me a job with the agency." Amy explained to him. "I admit its not the ideal job I have always hoped for but I have to admit working here has been fun so far for me and I am glad I got to cook in a kitchen like yours and I got to teach you how to cook hey if you want I can teach you how to make cake pops." Amy said with a smile on her face for she loved cooking and baking the most.

"But enough of that go ahead and try what you made for you did a good job making it yourself and I sometimes find that you make yourself taste a lot better. "Amy said with a smile on her face as she took a slice and bit into it and smiled for to her it tasted really good and was glad to be able to make it and do what she likes to do a lot.

"If you say so...whoah! This thing tastes amazing! Amy...you're amazing!" As Phillip bit into the pizza that he himself helped to create, his taste buds exploded into a collision of different flavors. "I usually don't have pizza often since my family likes to stick to the really fancy stuff, so this is a treat for me too!" Taking more rapid chunks of pizza within his ever hungry mouth, the boy with the eye-patch gave his maid an enthusiastic thumbs up. "I know I've said this before too, but you really are incredible Amy!" Suddenly embarrassed at the shower of compliments he was constantly giving unto her, Phillip avoided her gaze and stared at the table while finishing his dinner.

"Back home...living with my close family I mean...I didn't get to know any of our servants on a personal level. They rarely spent the time asking me what I really wanted...just following orders as usual. Not that it's a bad thing or anything...but it really does get lonely sometimes. Heh, ok, I did lie a little just now. There was one who became my friend. Though she was bit on the...er, loose side. She's actually a maid like you too Amy." Leaning back on his intricate dining chair, Phillip crossed his hands behind his head and looked to the ceiling. "Hmm...I wonder how she's doing." Suddenly, a loud bang echoed across the entire mansion, followed by short pitter patters of sound. Rain and thunder. A dark storm had hit the mansion, causing a loud commotion to take place outside.

Amy mainly smiled at his experissions once he bit into the pizza for she could tell that he liked it a lot. "I am glad you like it makes me happy to know that you enjoy it a lot." She said with a smile on her face. "Hmm I think that is because it is believed that people from high society prefer fancy food though honestly its really you guys getting better more quality ingredients and done in a more fancy way." Amy explained for she has seen a few places like that for her parents spent a good fortune there and they made her go to pay the rest of thier bill of by washing dishes for a whole week. "I do not know if I am that incredible I am just glad that you like the food and that makes me happy." She said with a smile on her face as they ate the pizza though she only had a couple bites she trained her body to not eat a lot of food anymore.

Amy listened to him talk about what it was like back home and how there was a maid that was a friend to him even if she was a little....different and how she was kind of like her. "Well she sounds like a nice person and I am she is must be doing ok and is happy." AMy siad to him but soon jumped once she heard a loud bang echo in the mansion and looked outside. "Oh dear looks like storm is about to hit and something this powerful will knock the power out soon." She said worried as she got up. "We better go to the living room area and get a fire going in the fireplace so we will have some light and do we have flashlights." She said for she has been through a storm like this and always made sure to have an emergancy plane and stash of stuff they might need.

Phillip nodded in agreement as he took ahold of their plates and put them in the sinks to be washed for later. Once that was done, he led Amy to the massive living room area only seen before through stolen glances. With the dark weather outside raging on, the two could finally look upon it in full glory. Much like the rest of the house, the place was magnificent and no doubt expensive to every penny. The carpets beneath ran a rich and deep crimson color, and several couches and chairs surrounded the center hearth of a mighty fireplace, blazing with power and warmth.

Settling down on a random couch cushion, Philip sighed as the weather outside only began to worsen more and more. "Hmmm, maybe we could tell each other some ghost stories? If you're into that kind of thing I mean. In fact, I think the landlord of his house told me that it was build on sacred ground. Or wait, maybe it was a cemetery..." He shrugged indifferently, though it probably would have helped had he mentioned any notion of ghosts beforehand.

Before he could speak again though, a loud and violent knocking at the front door made him jolt upright in surprise. "Aw man, I didn't mean for ghosts to be real!"
