The place they were in was where Emiri was born. That...that should be something she should know. And yet she was completely clueless. The fact that someone else knew more about her than she did bothered her somewhat. It would help if she could remember something herself rather than rely on the setting or someone she had just met. Except they hadn't just met. Or did they? How was she to know? She couldn't help but feel slight frustration, though she would follow Jaakuna regardless. They arrived at an old house that looked very abandoned. She could not help but raise an eyebrow at him. What in the world would jog her memory in an old house like this?
"...is this...your house?" She asked him very reluctantly. "I don't really understand...why are we here?"
This was another one of those times Nadeline wanted to say 'I knew it'. Still, even she hadn't seen this coming at all. Not this way. And now Clyde was dead, Levi in his place. Nadeline suddenly felt very, very nervous. She reminded her too much of Lola; she would not be surprised at all if the two had some sort of connection. What worried her more was also the fact that she would mention Jaakuna and Emiri. Had something happened while they were away? And a cleansing? The only thing that came to mind was a technique Aloa spoke of long ago, but she was unsure if that was related. She gripped her rapier tightly. Something had happened while they were gone. And what of Grant? Did they find Jaakuna? But then that would have been a good thing, the way Levi spoke was as if something tragic had happened.
Nadeline did not like where this was going.
Meli would shoot a look at Michel. Still, she would take his hand as her shadow would stretch around the pair, and they would sink down into it. Once they were gone, Lola would look at Shion. Normally she would never question her orders, but she just felt the need to ask. "Why don't you try to get an Esper, boss?" She asked her rather curiously.
"As both you and Michel have shown me, the Espers seem to side with the Scion of Time. As such, they may no longer be of use to me." She stated clearly. "Even so, were I to obtain an Esper, I would go straight for the top: The High Seraph herself. No other would do, simple as that." That much was understandable. Lola would nod and stand by Shion, her own shadow stretching and surrounding them. The pair would also sink in and disappear into the shadows.
