No seriously that was the second thing I thought about when it came to the idea. I saw the picture I ended up using for his appearance. Liked the design, and started thinking about the implications of a male Gwen and female Kevin. How that works with the established concepts like the guy being the one who asks the girl out, plus how their relationship was in the show.

Plus if nothing else, its always going to be easier to write a guy when you're a guy. That is a last second excuse to wiggle my way out of it. BOOYAH.

Right, back from a sort of a break and some stuff I was dealing with. In good news I recently got the entire Trade Paperback collection of The Immortal Iron Fist, which has given me all sorts of inspiration! Just lemme know what I have to do.

Just a note: I finally got my hands on scans of the 150 series of Spawn vol 1, which are the issues in which Christopher appears (151-159 specifically). So I added an image of the canon Christopher into his CS and adjusted the appearance description to match.

I'd forgotten he had blond hair. And his eyes are blue even in the Hellspawn suit, which seems unusual given what we know about Hellspawn physiology... but I'll go with it.

Killer Moth could be revised into much more than the joke he is in the comics. Dude has money, gadgets, martial arts, and basically is an anti-Batman. Has the skills you'd need, etc.

I was thinking of what it would be like for a character such as Dick Grayson or even Wolverine to have been in the Visaya Islands when Typhoon Haiyan struck. Taking that perspective, and applying it to Christopher, who can sense death, I thought it would make a compelling narrative for how our character re-discovers himself in the process of being a hero. And not a I'm a hero, because I beat up Lex Luthor hero, but one who tried to fight against an opponent where good and evil aren't at play. It's a typhoon. Chris can't win, he can only lose, because he won't be able to save everyone. But that becomes the point of the story.

Afterwards, he'll help a soul to cross over, briefly encounter someone in the afterlife (either Professor Utonium or Danny Fenton, I'll re-address those points with Gowi once the story progresses to that stage) and either result would be to connect his story back to his Infinity, Inc teammates.

David Cain is League of Shadows/Assassins.

Richard Dragon is a martial arts master who mentored Ben Turner (Bronze Tiger) who joined the League of Assassins and later the Suicide Squad.

Also to elaborate further in a potentially unnecessary but informative way Richard Dragon was a martial artist and martial arts themed comics character who originally had his own comic called Richard Dragon Kung Fu Fighter, basically like a white Bruce Lee including the Eastern Philosophy stuff. He fought a lot of martial arts based villains, including being one of the first to tangle with Lady Shiva, but now that he no longer has his own comics he basically shows up in other people's comics as a supporting character to fight with them if the enemy of the comic is martial arts based, or teach them if they need spiritual guidance or martial arts training.

Basically comics writers now use him as a general sensei and spiritual guy. He taught Barbera Gordon Eskrima after she was paralyzed, taught The Question martial arts and Eastern Philosophy and helped Wonder Woman get over an emotional crisis or two.Without even mentioning other martial arts characters like Bronze Tiger.

He's basically similar to Iron Fist, minus the chi/ki powers and or being a superhero, although he still has some eastern mysticism stuff occasionally.

Either an Iron Fist or one of the other Immortal Weapons from one of the other cities, but potentially yeah. Although given that two Iron Fists at the same time canonically causes massive problems and another person USING the Chi of Shou-Lao if the other is caught unaware of it can cause massive trauma and pain and Danny had to learn to deal with it and brace for it otherwise it might not be a great idea.

He can be one of the greatest martial artists on Earth or in the Universe without ever having had the weird fortune to stumble into K'un-Lun on the one day every ten years that it's visit-able. Shang-Chi in the mainstream Marvel Comics is equal to Danny in terms of martial arts skill and has nothing to do with the Immortal Weapons, for instance.
