You know, occasionally you hear stuff like that that you know for sure is in your head, because it isn't like normal sound. I suddenly heard someone calling "Red robinnn" like in the commercials. After I heard it, I remembered it from a while ago. So anyway, I was playing Terraria and thinking about this, when I heard it again. Then I remembered: I was hearing it all the time last time I played Terraria. It's not part of the music or anything, trust me, I know I'm imagining it. It happens it different areas of the game with completely different music and sounds. I even heard it when I muted it after a while. And when I hear it, it sounds like somebody's calling it from outside my house and far away. There is something going on here, but what?

It sounds like this, but without the "yumm"

Well this is by far the strangest case of hallucinations I've ever heard about.

Either that or someone's just trying to fuck with you.

Auditory hallucinations or brilliant subliminal advertising?

Could just be stuck in your memory and it pops up now and then like a song that suddenly gets stuck in your head.

That jingle is much creepier when played completely isolated like that. Why is Robin only in my right ear?

It's still happening every once and a while. Only when I'm playing terraria though. And if I notice it as it's happening it cuts off. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

No, it has something to do with terraria I think. But it happened even when the game sound was muted, so it isn't the sound or music

Perhaps some of the music or effect sounds in Terraria are similar to those in the Red Robin advert, and it's triggering the memory. When listening to some heavy/metal music I think I hear someone (usually my mother) shouting for me all the time, even when she's not in the house. The shouted lyrics and such trigger my typical reaction to someone shouting for me; as soon as I notice what's happening, the effect leaves. It's not unusual, don't worry about it.

I guess something about the game triggers it. :/ I am no expert on things like this, but does Terraria have alot of bright, flashing colors?
