That was fast. How’d they pull that off?
Our technological prowess and ingenuity is very difficult to match, period. Lots of smart cookies and technology to speed things along.

Even with tech, people are still people. How’d you get around the logistics of that?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
A good army of robots can do wondrous things. I heard of a much more miraculous example in the form of a Waternaux City, pretty recently.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
Even for managing and governing people out of chaos?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
It's not difficult under certain conditions. A strong backbone for societal structure, a physically strong military force for defense and peacekeeping, good incentives for not pursuing a dystopic life.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
The first one I think is the hardest part. Not that I've ever built a civilization.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
Well, what I mean by that is that the dystopia didn’t last that long. A solid majority of people who helped rebuild were people who had lived through and been part of society before the disaster. A large populace with an understanding what a solid society looks like, all of which were accustomed to that life, makes it not hard to convince, nor does it require a whole lot of change to make it happen, compared to building a society out of, say, a world that had lived in dystopia for centuries or longer.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
Even if everyone has a different idea of how society is supposed to be?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
It’s hardly different, if at all.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
You think so? Building a society isn’t a small thing, after all. I feel like I might not think it should be done the same way someone else does.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
And you'd act on that rather than return to normalcy in an otherwise deprived life?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
No, but we’d somehow have to come up with the consensus.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
"We'd"? Oh, right, "we'd".
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
The collective we, not the royal we. Like, if I were a part of that society, we would have to come to a consensus.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
And people's opinion isn't that different. The core of all this is pretty agreed upon for us, if it isn't for most others.

*Walks slow laps around the laser occupying your position*
That poor soul feels lost, I imagine. Ripped from an identity that should be hers.
*Leans down and picks up a small piece of rubble*
I’m an agent of creation. I want no part of any family that does this.
*Drops it*
The only way you leave in one piece is by taking me to King so I can deal with him personally.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
You do understand the threat of death means nothing to those of Amaranthine, correct? Conventional weapons, like you laser above, are functionally useless in combat against us. A minor distraction, if anything.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
I’m just curious as all. It’s not every day you hear about a civilization rebuilding itself.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Yes, I am just wasting resources by keeping a weapon focused on you when it's clearly doing nothing. I take it this means that you're done with the phase where you attempt to justify things?
