<Snipped quote by Crew>
*Nods wordlessly in his direction as we walks past*
*Puts my hand on your shoulder at the booth, stopping you and addressing the guard*
How’s it going?
*Waits, but gets not even an acknowledgement of our presence*

*Puts my hand on your shoulder at the booth, stopping you and addressing the guard*
How’s it going?
*Waits, but gets not even an acknowledgement of our presence*
<Snipped quote by Crew>
*Raises an eyebrow*
<Snipped quote by Server>
*Glances over to you, looking mildly annoyed, then clears my throat*
We’re here for inspection. Zyland Mantharas.
…
<Snipped quote by Crew>
*Looks over at the guard*
Excuse me.
<Snipped quote by Server>
*He doesn’t respond to you either, and continues to sit in his booth, watching others from out his window*
… We’re clear to go in, I assume?
…
<Snipped quote by Crew>
*Shrugs*
Looks like it.
<Snipped quote by Server>
We’re going to go in now.
*Makes my way through the courtyard entrance, and upon doing so, an alarm triggers, letting off a beeping that is loud, but not overbearing, and the guard turns to it and stares for a moment, looking confused before stepping out of the booth*
<Snipped quote by Crew>
This is more than a little unusual...
<Snipped quote by Server>
*The guard walks in our direction as he makes his way to the alarm system, as several other heavily armed and armored personnel emerge from the building and rush toward us as well*
Listen, I tried to-
*He walks through the both of us, and instead of bumping shoulders like we normally would have, he passes through us harmlessly, his body shimmering at the points of contact much like the visual effect from our moment of arrival*
<Snipped quote by Crew>
Alright, now it's absurd. What's going on?
<Snipped quote by Server>
Something that might require a change of plans.
*Looks up at the building, the top stretching too far into the sky to see, then back to the guards as they shut the alarm off and complain to each other about faulty technology. They appear slightly less than opaque now*
<Snipped quote by Crew>
Did we walk into some kind of trap?
<Snipped quote by Server>
Hard to say. Though it doesn’t seem to be theirs at least.
<Snipped quote by Crew>
Maybe try going back and seeing if the effect goes away?
<Snipped quote by Server>
I don’t expect portals to work within the grounds. But maybe we can slip out while they’re reseting that alarm so we don’t trip it again.
<Snipped quote by Crew>
In the worst case, we can trip it until they figure out what's going on.
<Snipped quote by Server>
I’m not sure to what extent that whatever is happening is… Eh, happening. If we really really make people suspicious, we might end up causing a high alert, and getting caught after that point would be… Well, I don’t think explaining out intentions and what happened would be believed by security forces so well, we’ll say.
<Snipped quote by Crew>
If it's some kind of trap, it's worth keeping that in mind as an out.
<Snipped quote by Server>
Sure. Let’s give it a go.
*Turns to make my way out the door, but upon looking out the gate, a bright, shimmering wall of light that appears like a beautiful, over-exaggerated image of the cosmos quickly closes in on the facility, enveloping reality outside and causing it to disappear as not one soul reacts to its presence*
