I wish I was there for it… I wouldn’t be shocked if all she meant was that it would be wise to see if someone wanted to take on the challenge if you didn’t. It’s a dangerous thing, to be someone prone to the dangers of even the knowledge you get exposed to when you work with the things we do.

I can’t describe it in great detail to you, but I suppose you could describe it as an underlying magical force in the universe. The hidden elements and all the knowledge that comes with them are a fundamental part of the fabric of the universe, but they’re rare in nature because they quite literally didn’t make the cut. It’s not supposed to be accessible, as per the very rules of reality. And reality itself bites back to maintain the balance.

Curtis: I’m one step ahead of you on that. Barring you making a plan with any new information you had, I was prepared for the next step to be rendezvousing with our guys. You’re headed west at the moment. If you head towards the outskirts of the southside of town, we had a camp set up where our guys were attempting initial field research and treatments.
