So... good things stand for these qualities: Honour, Love, Honesty, Selflessness, Compassion, Kindness, Empathy, Disdain for evil - which is also another word for wilful malice, willingness to defend the weak and innocent...
As long as you have any number of these qualities in you, you can be as goth and as edgy as you like in my honest opinion. In fact, i remember a being far edgier than you making it into heaven a good century back or so...
