Somewhere amongst the cosmos...A lone EDB Spectre space raft floats amongst thr wreckage of many ancient ship parts, seemingly resting within a spsce graveyard. Within the ship, the click-clack of heels across the metallic floor could be heard, as a woman dressed neatly whilst carrying a clipboard makes her way towards a reclusive hall, which appears to be notably dimmer, as if something nearby were drawing power from the circuit. She knocks on the door in a specific pattern, ad a keypad flips out, revealing a thumbprint scanner. Upon placing her thumb onto the scanner's glass, a light slashes within it, as the door in front of her unlocks. Allowing herself into the room, she sets the clipboard down on a desk, next to a man who resembled none other than Coheed himself*
Coheed: what have you brought me, here?
Woman: its a chart of the monthly progress on project AE9. You requested it, no?
Coheed: oh yeah... the Angel Engine project. I thought it was due to be terminated soon?
Woman: it was if no significant progress was to be shown within 10 days of your call. We did it in 4.
Coheed: hmm..
*looks at the board, and then at the large, glass cylinder in front of him, housign some sort of being floating in a thick liquid, hooked to many whirring and pumping machines*
You mean to tell me that you made a years worth of progress in a month? Outstanding. This is the kind of work we hire you for, not to babysit poloticians with your inquiries.
* the woman sighs*
Woman:
Always so sharp-tongued. No need to be hostile, we here at the Spectre HQ will always provide.
Coheed:
I see... burn the files.
Woman: .. b-but these havent been reported! All of that data will be lost-
Coheed: the general public cannot and WILL not have scess to this project or any related data. If this gets into the wrong hands... we're doomed.
*walks over to the glass, gently tapping it a couple of times*
Marcius. Its time to wake up.
