Vex: You can't float it off of its mount without first touching it. My recommendation? The sword is virtually unbreakable, but the ceiling is not. Removing the chunk of ceiling it is on and floating that down to us is very much possible.

Good idea! *a red glow appears on the ceiling around the mount. Around the borders of the glow, the ceiling cracks before the chunk breaks away and floats down* There you go!
