Let's just say, the creatures started as worms. Very large and really small.when I left they were intelligent creatures whom have used lots of steam generated machinery to get by. I had to wait for land forms to change and rise to be able to get the necessary items. They knew of me. And made many statues of me. If I remember they thought of me as a Goddess who lived in a very large mountain. Which is true.

Before that, it had been sealed away for one thousand years because of the dark lord Sombra. It is likely that this is the dark lord spoken about in the prophecy.
