At the risk of having to repeat myself later, I cannot. They feed directly off of the remaining pieces of master's ethereal self, inside the avatar. The only way to cease their function is to either kill the avatar, or for master to deactivate them upon returning. *Smiles slightly* But we're going to make sure it's the former.

In a sense. The actual clothing and items will be kept secure, and duplicates will be on your person when you arrive. Weapons and the like will not be duplicated. We'll also be equipped with a wrist mounted device with basic information on the other contestants, which will be how the riddles will be delivered. Simple and effective.
