Oooohhhhh, boy. In a broad sense, a reactor is where reactions occur to produce power. Nugen is a special material that is used for its incredibly high energy concentration, and it can be used in combination with other materials to make a lotta lotta energy.

It's actually the opposite, really. It's extremely safe, but if you utilize it correctly, you can make a big boom.
