I don't know what it means, but if it is controlling the original me and your friend Lunar, it must have some sort of bypass through them. Kinda like spiderman and the Symbiote Venom.

Uhm. So with Spiderman, he has worn a symbiote suit that would soon influence his thoughs and actions to be agressive and unlike his own self. And when another being was wearing that suit, he wouldn't be able to detect it and would be at a disadvantage.
