But plants don't think?
Naturally incentivise them.

But plants don't think?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
Naturally incentivise them.
<Snipped quote by Balance>
How does it do that?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
*Frowns*
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
What?
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
*Nods*
Alright. Next portion, then.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
You need resources. And fallbacks, in case the Plan A's and B's don't work out, and then you need access to carry out those as well. So, I feel, first and most important thing, would be to establish an uninterrupted medium for us to communicate.
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
What would work best?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Got a phone?
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
Yeah, but I don't know why it would work here.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Does it work interdimensionally?
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
It's built to, at least.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Then it should work here, just with a... Confined signal, you could say.
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
So signals can escape?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
No, confined to using the cell network of this planet.
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
Can we do that without a SIM or a plan here?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
You don't need any of that unless your phone just isn't set up to use whatever network you choose, regardless of permissions. I forget some people aren't us.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
I just feel bad for the animals.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
Same here, though it's a bit harder if they've tried to eat or maul you in the past.
Hopefully they either die out so they'll stop suffering, or a few will be born without suffering, though the second one is a bit more dangerous.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
Do you think other animals could end up like that?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
From what I've seen, it's unlikely since what ever mutated them is likely the same thing that destroyed the previous civilization. Heck, the fact that some of these poor things lived long enough to try reproducing and that some of them were successful is both incredible and horrible.
