That is very true. I also have nothing because I hate destroying things, so anything I could be destroying right now is being repurposed. We can just go snuff out a star, I suppose.

Yes, exactly. But it hasn't been, and all current evidence points to its impossibility, which is why it's a law. So while I work on that problem—and I have been—I'm planning for the worst.

As far as I am concerned, all waste I produce is negligible, and it will not decrease the lifespan of Existence by any measurable degree. In addition, we have shown that the answer to whether or not energy generation is possible is knowable, though we still do not know it ourselves.

I understand all of this. But I've already established the principle for myself. If I won't be faithful in small applications, I'll never be faithful in the large, so I try really, really hard not to make compromises.
