Mierno: a sister! Nice!
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
*Places a finger on your forehead*
Calm down, it's not what you have in mind. Machina is an anomaly, not a classic biological child.
Hmph. What then?

<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
While you were training, Fairy Blue attempted to extract the soul of Lancelot from the sealed plane Star had reinforced. Data and Mierno investigated this and discovered that she had succeeded—however, it appears she extracted two souls instead of one.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
So she's a little Lance?
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
I see. Allow me to test this feature briefly, in that case.
*Types away at a terminal*

*Steps over and observes Elizabeth*
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
*Chuckles*
No, Lance's soul was kept quite separate from Star's. However, we did look into exactly whose souls comprise hers; we found that it was primarily composed of Star's soul, mingled with Second's from his role in creating the seal. Interestingly, it was also shaped by First's influence, but contains none of his soul.

*She is kept levitated by several repulsion beams and two needlelike protrusions quickly jab at both of her sides*
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Mierno:
Huh. Yeah, I'm not too happy with how FB is using Lance. We should probably stop that.
<Snipped quote by Source>
I know what it’s like... Hopefully she’s out sooner rather than later, problems solved.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
Oh? Do you have experience?
<Snipped quote by Source>
Being poked at in experimentation? I do. It’s the reason I have the ability to fight as I do.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
A kind of super soldier experiment?
<Snipped quote by Source>
Exactly that, only I was a precursor to a more refined version that I fear has been adopted by non-military groups. But that’s tangentially related. It’s quite the grueling experience.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
Were you not incapacitated?
*Walks over and analyzes a screen with a series of figures*
<Snipped quote by Source>
I don’t know the science of it myself even to this day, but a substantial portion of it supposedly required consciousness on my behalf for things to go the way they should.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
I see. I apologize that it was as traumatic as it was.
*Taps a series of digital buttons that appear on my desk*
<Snipped quote by Source>
I like to think it was for the greater good. It’s enabled me to do a lot, for a lot of people.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
*Another pair of needles jab Elizabeth's sides with greater force*
I believe that perspective is psychologically much better for you, long term.
<Snipped quote by Source>
Undoubtedly. I also believe it wholeheartedly. I know some people would dejectedly adopt the opinion as a coping mechanism, but it’s just the truth in my eyes.
