Like a city of sorts?
Sort of. Think of the net like this sprawling metroplex and servers as suburbs you can visit.

<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Ohhh. Okay.
<Snipped quote by Threads of Fate>
You overestimate the cooperation of a group. If the Codex had any reasonable ability to work together, no deaths would have ever been necessary.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
Yet you worked together before the split, according to the Precursor. Besides, I came here with the knowledge that the possibility of losing some of us to Nyarlathotep's side is not zero. Regardless, we are one of the last remaining groups capable of fighting her in any capacity, and of those groups, we're the most stable. If you think we're so bad, you should see the various groups of "heroes" that we might need to call on.

How do digital beings in your world work?

How do digital beings in your world work?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Hm...Well. We come from eggs. Each of us have differing forms that we can reach. Kinda like levels. Some are able to stay into those forms while others tend to keep at smaller levels. Our world is pretty much an expansive frontier. Wild lands. While there is no true form of civilization, we have territories. We do have humans that have inhabited our world, but it is basic living. No large scale metropolitan areas.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
It is hard to explain how we work since it is very similar to how organic beings are. Like in our world, we are organic. Yet we are made of data and can be deleted and such.
<Snipped quote by Asce>
So you cohabitate with humans?
<Snipped quote by Asce>
Organic data?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Very recently. They are not there to stay though. We don’t want them to stay. Our tendency to fight is a problem enough. I believe that humans would only push it further.
Yes. Haha.
*scratches the back of my head and my tails move side to side*
<Snipped quote by Asce>
You fight with humans? How does your data work?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
We have. They sometimes see it as a game though...almost like a sport.
*looks at my hand, my skin and clothes to my elbow becomes red code, while keeping it’s shape, Glitching every now and then*
I don’t know. I never really questioned it much.
<Snipped quote by Asce>
Do you hurt them?
*Holds out my hand*
Nobody has called our kind of data organic. Most navis can't leave the net at all.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
We can. And we have, killed some even. For the sake of humans, in command of a human, or because they were not as sentient as others.
*reaches to grab yours, straighten out away from me*
You seem organic to me. We can leave and go as we want, there are different ways. The internet and technological devices being an easy medium.
<Snipped quote by Asce>
It seems that way, but it's just an emulation at best. Navis were made to serve humans, not live alongside them.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Wait, you were made by humans?
<Snipped quote by Asce>
I wasn't, but netnavis as a whole were.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
What makes you different?
<Snipped quote by Asce>
I come from other netnavis. As was my sister.
