<Snipped quote by System>
Absolutely, but I love the freedom. Scarf in the summer? No problem. Shorts below zero? Love it.
Do you get any weird looks?
<Snipped quote by System>

<Snipped quote by Audacious>
Do you get any weird looks?
<Snipped quote by System>
From time to time. When I go to places that wouldn't know about powers, though, I do tend to try and not stick out like a sore thumb.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
It's still a good amount of freedom all the same.
<Snipped quote by System>
Absolutely.
*Grabs a pebble and melts it down to a molten form in my hand and plays with it*
I do a lot of silly things with this ability.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
That looks fun, albeit dangerous.
<Snipped quote by System>
For others maybe. But as long as I keep it in its own little bubble, the heat doesn't spread.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
So if it left the bubble, it would cool down?
<Snipped quote by System>
Nah, I'm making it hot. The bubble is just an easy way to keep convection under control. It's super hot, so it's more like I'm protecting everything else from the heat.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
Can you feel the heat at all?
<Snipped quote by System>
Not in the sense that the heat is spreading to me. I'm also controlling my own temperature. But I do feel it with that sixth sense we talked about earlier.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
Do you feel it when you don't control it?
<Snipped quote by System>
I would, but then it would hurt a lot.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
*Laughs*
I meant in general, but good to know.
<Snipped quote by System>
Oh. Yeah, I do. It's nice to just naturally feel things like the sun on your face, or a hot shower, or other stuff like that.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
That does sound nice. All of the little pieces of life add up.
<Snipped quote by System>
Yup. And I don't have to worry about the crappy ones like getting stuck in the cold rain and stuff.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
I've heard some describe that as a kind of nostalgic feeling.
<Snipped quote by System>
Nostalgic how?
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
*Shrugs*
I have no idea. They say it's some kind of serene experience.
