Alucard: that is good to hear. Unfortunately here, that doesnt seem to be the case. Shortly before I arrived the base was under attack yet again. Something called the Amaranthine. I was told that Mierno fought to hold them off, but was fighting a loosing battle. It doesnt seem there were any casualties, though. Most likely the battle was a show of power.

They don’t affect me. The Balkan thing has something to do with how dimensions are divvied up or something, but Data is your guy if you want to learn about that.
