<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
The projections are unlikely to harm anyone. Lab 14 in a corrupted, autonomous state, is not necessarily in the same class as "no danger," however.
Well, if it’s just a lab, then at least it can’t move... Right?

<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
In standard and/or ideal conditions, your intuition is correct.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
So where is it?
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
*Motions toward the house*
This is Lab 14. As they say, it's more than meets the eye.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Oh, I thought you were living here or something.
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
If I were, this may have been avoidable. Although... Lab 14 should not have been capable of beginning a reboot.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Is there anything inside of value?
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Given the fact that the lab has restarted operations, there is. I had tasked it to solve a problem I thought unsolvable in order to prevent it from meaningfully operating. Its reboot indicates that it has computed the solution, and I would very much like to know what that is.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
How long did it take?
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
It was rather quick. Only a thousand years or so.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
... I guess that's not absurd for something considered "impossible".
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
It was never formally proven impossible, but I didn’t anticipate that the lab would be capable of solving it. It’s been entirely deprecated.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Well, I’m sure that you’re more than capable of taming it and getting what you need? It’s your lab after all.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
I intend to do whatever I can, but disabling the security measures will be non-trivial in my current state.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Well, that doesn’t necessarily imply “difficult”.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
My concern is primarily in regard to whatever caused the system to operate autonomously at all. Perhaps it was simple corruption, but the security systems may not respond to my overrides.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
How long will it take you to not be in the current state that's holding you back?
<Snipped quote by Unhinged>
The estimate is three months, but I need to resolve this issue today.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
So what I’m hearing is that you need a hand!
