If it's anything like the amalgams and slimes from my world, it's big and mean. From the color it should be able to harden parts of itself at will. Spikes are not uncommon, but it can also do other things like consume which all slimes and amalgams can do. They're notorious for killing low ranked adventurers.

That last ability is the only one I’m concerned about. Depending on what it can absorb, it may not be easily killed.
