I don’t know—usually animals look a certain way for a reason. But we hardly have any mammals with wings.

Yeah, I guess it is kind of weird when you think about it. There are some other animals that can sort of glide between trees, but only one manages to take off.

I would dare to say nature where you're from seems pretty tame, in comparison. Everything is so small, and it doesn't sound like you have anything massive and dangerous that can fly. Like dragons, or something.
