Ooh, conspiracy

What do you mean computer school? All I use the computer for is to type long exercises that would be a pain to write.
Nimda said
Noes. Contact infurmasheon. You don't get your assignments from a computer?
whizzball1 said
Oh, okay. No, I don't do that. We have our own curriculum. That's how I have Latin and Logic and Life of Fred and other awesome books.

So you get to make up what you learn?
whizzball1 said
In a way. We buy books from different suppliers. I have Physical Science from Bob Jones University's homeschooling curriculum, and Cultural Geography, and Writing and Grammar 9 and Fundamentals of Literature. I'm reading Bruce Shelley's Church History for Bible, along with sermon notes for different character studies. I'm using Henle Latin, from the 1940s, and Traditional Logic II from the same supplier, and also a vocabulary book that uses my Latin curriculum from last year as a base to show the words that come from Latin roots. I have Write with World, which is a writing curriculum written by expert writers for the Christian . It's exceptional. And finally I have my Life of French maths books and occasional Khan Academy for further study.

That'll never fly in college =P

We have faith that there'll be a way, because we don't compromise (our specific convictions) about doing secular schooling. We'd rather use as much Christian curriculum as we can.
Nimda said
Mkay then. Where do you want to go?
whizzball1 said
Most likely Bob Jones University for my Bachelor's in Physics and Chemistry. They don't offer Master's for the former, so I'll be choosing a different one after that.
Nimda said
You like chemistry?
whizzball1 said
I love chemistry as much as I love physics.
