1. I've always pronounced Crona Crow-nuh.
2. Krahnaugh would be pronounced Craw-noff, not Craw-nuh.
2. If I had known that you pronounced Crona as Craw-nuh, I probably would have gotten it the first time I said Krahnaugh out loud.

No, it is "Crow-Nuh." But phonetically isn't necessarily exact in this way.
Augh makes the "auh" sound, not "off."
The sound that word has is "Crah nah."
That's just "Crow-Nuh" without closing your mouth.

Actually, no; I've heard multiple examples where augh sounded like off, including in names that ended with haugh.
I realised that after I decided to blow off traditional pronunciation rules for augh at the end of the word and say aw.
