Gullibility is really irrelevant. I personally don't feel so strongly about SW myself, but no one has really any way of discerning whther it's a legitimate spoiler or not. Plus, spoiling movies is a very sensitive ordeal.

It's really not. One of the marks of a well written story is if it's still as impactful if you know what'll happen or not.

If it's still impactful without that boost, then it's a mark of good writing. Literally exactly what I said in the first place. Saying there's a boost if you don't know beforehand agrees with my original statement.

No. Maybe when you stop, but that's prob not gonna happen. And def not when your characters say something wrong and my chars know that it's wrong.
