Fallout 4's main storyline is pretty good. I don't see why I've been hearing all the complaints.

Because it's tied so closely to the lack of any and all player choice. It's also one of the most cliche plots literally ever, and it doesn't matter what ending you get, they're the same thing. And factions mean nothing, beat the game and they just call you boss but nothing changes, there's no benefit or new things you can do.

I was surprised. Still waiting for the IRP explanation as to how he came up with them and also how old he really is.
