When I saw it, I saw that it was either an RP or a really IC conversation. Didn't realy know if it was going to last that long. And wanted to kick it off with Spirit, (me). So I pushed it. Even though I was already in trouble for being in an RP, but I continued on now. After awhile, through my consistent involve. I saw it slowly become more RP-like.

Why not just modify it and make it a New Year's party combined with Christmas? IC, it could be for the sake of simplicity, only having one party.
