Now im confused.
Based on context:

You threw him at the waves.

David was on the ground, sending the waves at you.

Throwing Shinji at the waves would me that you essentially threw him directly across at David.

Which would mean, its still roughly ground level, close enough for him to dig his sword into the ground.

Am I wrong?
