All I rememver was thinking that Toby was gonna die, so I was panicked for a bit. I remember being disappointed that there wasn't an actual war, though.

With Waternaux City blowing up, Vex losing his arm, Graveny becoming stronger than your average universe-buster, and another temporary death by ES. Oh, and Indigo died too.
