Here's the six magics to choose from. If you want to participate, choose 2-3 you like most in order, with the character they make most sense with, and we can deliberate from there.
The Red Magic is known as the Law of Blood. Simplistically, it is considered as a magic of will--some describe it as imposing the will of the caster directly on an object. That's incorrect on a lot of levels, but it's rooted in the fact that the Red Magic deals generally with affecting actions of an object. It toys with motion, force, location--which allows teleportation--and other similar aspects of an object. When not bending reality, a user of the Red Magic generally attacks using manifestations of force.
The Orange Magic is the Law of the Sun. Simplistically, it's considered the magic of senses. It deals with more descriptive aspects of an object instead of its action, like colour, temperature, shape, malleability, and other similar aspects. Notably, it can change the phase of matter an object is in at will. Users of the Orange Magic are rarely not bending reality--they often keep a material on them which they can use in extremely versatile ways.
The Green Magic is the Law of Earth, simplistically called the magic of nature. It does have a lot to do with nature, especially the manipulation of plants, but it also has a lot to do with the motion of the living--that is, it can control someone's movements enough to disrupt them, or even put their muscles to sleep altogether. Users of the Green Magic can also perform summonings, and a very skilled user can create his own specialised creatures.
The Blue Magic is the Law of Sky. It is simplistically called the light magic. Its main theme is affecting the workings of the world in constructive ways. With it, one can reconstruct mountains; control wide swaths of water, or fire, or lava; manipulate the winds, and, most notably, convert between and control most types of energy. A very skilled user can even convert between matter and energy. It has many "traditional" offensive spells, like blasts of magic and elemental magics like fireballs, lightning strikes, ice magic, etcetera.
The Indigo Magic is the Law of Velvet, simplistically named the deep magic. It deals with the molecular level of things, allowing one to manipulate chemical bonds, the effects of electrons in their orbits, and so many other things that I couldn't possibly think of them all at the moment. It is, again, extremely versatile.
The Violet Magic is the Law of Obsidian, simplistically called the dark magic. Its main theme is affecting the world in destructive ways. A user of the Violet Magic can, for example, convert matter to energy and absorb most, but not all of the release. It can cause decay, like with corrosion or erosion. It can change gravity and pressure, among other things.
