<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Then you're a pussy and should not be allowed any privacy. This is something that pisses me off more than anything else.
I don't particularly care. As an advocate for the free exchange of all information, I'd rather there be absolutely no privacy than people being in danger. In a perfect world, privacy wouldn't be needed because nobody would hurt you over information. In our real world, however, safety is what drives privacy entirely. Other than that, everything open source, free to understand by any willing to look into it. The internet exists because freedom is equal to the open exchange of information, and while not everything is on it, one can become an expert in most subjects by using it. If you want privacy, there's little reason other than safety itself because you fear others judging you, using it against you, or stealing it from you. Safety. If safety is not the concern, there is no reason for privacy because information is meant to be free.
