No. I haven't figured it out. The occurance is too distant of each other that it is hard to find out what is causing it.

No. I have an iPad, which only gets wifi, so I can't use data. Additionally, I don't really like Pokémon, although augmented reality is cool, so I'd probably do it anyway if I had unlimited data for some reason.
