I was more like "Crud, I have to kill Dark now." Knowing he would chop me up with a knife that sharp, I had to go in for a swift kill.

The reason I couldn't remember is that it ended after you swung at me and I got out of the way. But realistically, it's a bad situation being bare handed against a guy with the knife, and you had a lot of skill in the dream. It was interesting because it was an old friend of mine at first and we were fighting for a reason I'm not sure of. I believe it was the crowd around us who wanted it, and we knew that if either of us got knocked out, the crowd would kill us, but we agreed to not actually hurt each other badly and to treat it as a spar because we had no reason to want to hurt each other. Suddenly I look up and you're there, swinging something that looked a bit like this at me, but with a larger blade, like a crescent moon, and a thinner handle.



I'm incredibly surprised now because everything's changed, of course. I'm able to dodge (and I think hit your hand with my foot), and then I saw you were about to swing at my neck and I got ready to get out of the way and snap your neck, but the dream ended there.

There was no way to trip him. He was hands forward, feet back. I would have liked to have used his momentum against him and pulled him forward, but the amount of time it would take for him to reset after lunging with his hand like that would have given me enough time to get on his opposite side and then perhaps take the opportunity to get behind him.

That me isn't very good with knives then. Never use a slash as a forward, only as counters. Only use stabs as forwards and always keep 3360 movement available.

You can't really stab with that knife; it's for cutting really well. I'm pretty sure you were just using it because it would be more fun and slow.

I don't know what dream you was going for. But realistically, using it like knuckles would make the operating region significantly smaller due to the possibility of slipping to the left or to the right, and it loses a lot of force due to the lack of a point.
