God damnit. When I heard about Ordinal Scale I KNEW it was stealing my idea and now I've confirmed it.
Not that it was THAT original of an idea, Digimon basically did it, but still.
Hell, it was even one of the ways that I suggested SAO could've been better, so that's a plus.
Too bad it didn't redeem the movie.

Dude different shows have been stealing my ideas as far back as I can remember, AND one of my planned but never likely to happen series had a very similar premise to this one technology-wise. When I first heard about it I heard it was set in the real world with an overlay which was the idea in question.

I can't find it in my pms but I KNOW I wrote it out in one, so it might have even been so long ago that it was before the guild reset.

You mean the concept of augmented reality, which has been around for decades? I highly doubt that the producers of any of these shows even saw your ideas, much less used them.

To settle this completely, no one stole anyones ideas. This is a common phenomenon that happens between those who watch any sort of entertainment media and percieve ideas on how it can be better. To be fair, they probably had the idea for ordinal scale way before even the second season of sao.
