Unless your laptop is from 1995, I think the problem is repairable. Audio is one of the cheapest and easiest things for a manufacturer to get right.

My laptop is relatively old. But the issue is not that anything is broken, its just that, between this thing's age and what it was made for, audio isn't really on the map for focus. Heck, I never even used the laptop's audio for anything until I did Youtube related stuff.

That's a supplementary point, not the main one. He had huge influence on GT and it's not canon. It also had Gohan able to go SSJ "because he stopped training" which was one of the biggest plotholes that made GT non-canon. Remember that this is the guy who forgot SSJ2 existed so he made SSJ3 and had to have an editor remind him that there was already a SSJ2. He forgot Gohan couldn't go SSJ in GT and Super is just doing it to create artificial tension because GT did it and there was a period of time where it was canon. They already got rid of it again by re-making him Ultimate after 10 seconds of training with Piccolo since it was a bullshit excuse to make him go SSJ again in the first place. Hell they probably wouldn't have even made him able to go SSJ again if the movies didn't do it to emulate GT.

I will say that Toriyama flip-flopped on that because he didn't feel like Gohan suited the role of the main protagonist after having gone so far to build him up to be one. And Vegeta did get some character development in the Buu saga, as I recall it being the first time he made a sacrifice for anyone other than himself, and being the first time he admitted to Goku being his better. I even argue he'd have gotten more, but if the arc had ended when Toriyama initially intended, he'd have been dead by the end of the series. If Toriyama knew how long he'd have to make the arc, I'd argue Vegeta wouldn't have died so early in it and we would have probably seen more development out of him.

OBS is simple and basic, easy to use for the kinds of videos I make.

You're overlooking the incredibly important point that Gohan is a trash character. He has zero redeeming qualities after being a teen, and even then he wasn't that great.

Toriyama didn't even want there to be a Buu saga. He wanted to have it end after Freeza, then after Cell, and then after just Fat Buu, and who knows how many other times.

Wrong. He's the only good adult in the series other than Krillan. Everyone else is a barely-functioning moron until the end of Z. He's the only one other than Roshi to actually teach someone something on purpose. Piccolo doesn't count since he only did it to take over the world. Future Gohan is objectively the best male character to ever be in the series and everyone else is still just trying to catch up to him. Plus Gohan would've literally already caused U7 to win the Battle Royal if it weren't for everyone else being a moron and/or evil. He's the only reason Super Buu was able to beat Vegito at all. Every single problem post-Cell would be solved by Gohan alone if Goku and Vegeta didn't constantly get in the way. That's not even debatable, you can directly trace every single "failure" of Gohan's to an actual failure of those two's.
Buu gets released at all? Vegeta's fault. Buu genocides tons of people? Goku's fault for holding back against him. Trunks growing up to be a dweeb and horrible character? Vegeta's fault for suiciding. Trunks and Goten being morons who can't do anything and way overestimate themselves? Vegeta and Goku's fault. Gotenks dicking around and not wiping out Super Buu right away? Goku and Vegeta's fault, which we can prove by watching the only good part of GT and seeing that SSJ4 Gogeta is EXACTLY THE FUCKING SAME. Super Buu being strong enough to beat Ultimate Gohan? Gotenks' fault, which again, is Vegeta and Goku's fault. The earth being destroyed? Goku and Vegeta's fault. If Goku had just taught Gohan the fucking spirit bomb instead of trying to fight Vegeta in the tournament, or better yet FUCKING INSTANT TRANSMISSION, Gohan would have been able to stop the entirety of Z after Cell. Goku had a whole fucking year pre-death to teach him IT which would have guaranteed an early win against Cell AND prevention of Buu being released. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, GOHAN BEING A DUNCE LOSER IS ENTIRELY GOKU'S FAULT. He's only that way because he say the Ginyu Force on Namek where he wouldn't be if Goku had been smarter against Raditz, asked King Kai for a faster way back to earth which would have caused King Kai to IT him back, preventing the need to go to Namek at all, or had taken Chi-chi's side and kept Gohan on earth because aside from ONE INSTANCE of him tricking Vegeta, which is as difficult as tricking a puppy that you threw a ball, he was entirely useless on Namek AND wasted a wish he could have used on getting Goku fighting ready on bringing Piccolo to him because he was a fucking idiot.
Every perceived wrong of Gohan's is the fault of Goku and/or Vegeta.

TL;DR:

"Character flaws are okay because he didn't actually mess up."

Everything about Gohan, from his character design to his personality is trash. He's not a scholar, he's not a fighter, and he's not anything beyond saiyan fodder to keep his rabid fanbase happy. Goten has better character development and his involvement can be summed up as "He's Goku's kid and exists sometimes." At least being absent is better than having negative traits associated with your unlikable character. He's set up like some ultimately relatable dude for all of the fans, but he fails on both the human and saiyan aspects of his personality. The full-bloods may not be relatable, but they're likable and represent the dream of always being able to surpass your own limits. Gohan is a failure in every respect; he's far too saiyan in terms of power and attitude to be humanlike at all and he also has no aspirations to speak of do e can't even properly reflect the human love of self-improvement and surpassing all odds. He gets everything handed to him and still can't even use it properly. He's just some arrogant dude who gets creamed like a potato whenever he gets into a real fight. He can't contribute to the cast because he lacks the drive of a saiyan, lacks the personality of a human, has the price of a saiyan, and has the incompetence of a human. Gohan has always been trash and always will be.
