If you keep the deck shallow and mostly comprised of block and deck shuffle cards, being able to retain your hand shouldn't be that big of a deal (it also becomes a major problem if your hand gets full). The perfect relic for the run is the Calipers (if you can get it before you get the Barricade power card).
Check out how Flex stacks with Artifacts. If you get Panacea and use Flex+, it's a permanent strength boost of 4 for the rest of the match. Then just stack some Limit Break+ for ridiculous levels. Also, if you use Strength+ and then Limit Break, you only lose 4 at the end of your turn instead of 8, so you have a net gain of 4 strength.
Speaking of Feed, getting the Ooh Donut achievement was a ridiculous pain. Unless achievements are still on for seeded runs, it's almost unfair levels of difficult.
A shallow deck means you don't have any cards to exhaust for bonuses.
