No, this is more an OC made via a CYOA, not a mix. The CYOA just provides the lore and concept of the god being, I provide my own stuff and go from there. In reality though, the actual protag of the CYOA is you, or me, or really the reader. At least in the case of the Living God one, as it treats you like the ascended being until you select/say otherwise in the build via the Character Creator option.

If it helps, I label things like the Living God CYOA as Create Your Own Adventurer. Makes things simpler, since that's really what it is. There's a whole Reddit for it though, used to be active a while ago, and people upload their builds to that generally. The only thing I do different is make actual OCs rather than centering the build around myself, and not using Reddit. Additionally, I leave the second person syntax because it maintains the powers and descriptions as the original author intended, and because there's a lot of it.

Honestly it's a regular Earth in a rather regular dimension. He's there to hide from his destiny and not use his powers after all, so some contrivance is probably unavoidable.
