I mean, I was the first person to reach the highest note that is possible for us at the moment and it sounded not screams scratchy like. Nonono, only the overacheivers do that. Two octave is expected though. My range is better than our section leader's, and I have a firm grasp on music theory, but he has better tone quality and precision, so there's that. But I plan to overtake him by the end of summer.
