I plan out everything. Man vs. X is just so I can categorise the conflicts my characters have.

Great. And it does, but it's worth it in the end. I've thought of so many new ideas that I'll be able to integrate so smoothly because I'm planning. It'll keep me from making plot holes and it'll be much easier to tie everything together and make foreshadowing.
