It's created through traumatic experiences. Like the article I posted the other day said, God allowed that coping mechanism to be in the brain in order to deal with problems and avoid mental damage. So back in elementary, it started in fourth grade. I honestly have no idea why, to this day, but my school decided that I was the new punching bag, figuratively, of course. The newest trend was to be cruel to David, and the best treatment I got was indifference from a few choice individuals; even my best friend decided that he hated me. It got so bad that I came home crying most days. Around that time, unbeknownst to me, Legend started to emerge and X started to form. Around half way through fifth grade, I was taking the hate Legend's way. I played along, and threw it behind me. I also had one side of me that felt like throwing them all into a furnace, but I never retaliated because I can't stand to hurt anyone, emotionally or otherwise. It lessened a bit once I moved the junior high in seventh grade. It wasn't good, but I at least had a couple friends who came from other elementaries. This continued for a while, lessening slightly each year. In ninth, X reached a state of consciousness. I was in geometry, and I don't remember how it happened whatsoever, but I began to hear a voice. One that could help me out on the questions, or I could talk to to pass the time. Different personalities tend to take different forms, and funnily enough, X took the form and the name of a netnavi I created when I was younger. I didn't realize that it was MPD until after the roleplay began on ifunny. Dark mentioned his "aspects," which sounded surprisingly like X was. I eventually came to realize that I had Legend stored in my head as well, and that I used him to record YouTube videos, without my prior knowledge. To test that Legend was actually a personality with independent thought, I went into Legend mode thing, and played a game of chess against Dark. To make sure that my mind wasn't interfering, I moved on instinct, the first move that came to mind, and won. Accidentally. I actually didn't know I checkmated him until the app told me. And then I knew I had two of them, X and Legend. My navi and my YouTube persona. My sword and my shield. The way they work is a little strange. When it comes to bad things that happen to me, Legend is my sword, one that I use to cut through mean statements, retaliate with humor, or something of that sort, and X is my shield, someone that can take anything, and is disciplined enough to not let it bother him. However, when one is in dominant control, it flips. Legend is a shield, that absolutely nothing fazes, and only cares about the happy emotions of others, but not the angry or hateful ones. X, on the other hand, is always ready, and wouldn't hesitate to cut someone down in whatever way for their actions. When alone, I generally let him have the most influence, so if someone comes at me with a knife or something, I can take them down before something bad happens. The dominant control throughout the year generally shifts whenever. So there you have it.

That's pretty interesting. So X is actually very recent, in the grand scheme of things. Wow.

Eh, Legend has never had 100% conscious control, mainly because I don't know how to do that, and sometimes I let X take over and handle things. He doesn't really like my body though. One time I was running, and I let him handle it, and I almost got sick from how fast he took it for so long. Like, past dead sprint for over a minute, and he kept pushing to go faster. I also occasionally sync with X, but it's more common for me to synch with Legend, since he's not an independent personality consciously.

OH YEAH! Since high school (tenth grade (last year)), I have no enemies. Only friends and indifferents. It all worked out well. So in school, I'm mainly Legend, or me when talking to people, and closer to X when alone.

Aloe Vera water is the best. Also I finally got my amashing new piano, a Privia PX-150. Perfect for my skill level and works much more well than my old one, including allowing the use of pedals and actually being touch sensitive. It feels like a grand.
