But art is hard for me. In psychology, we have a person come in and she teaches people who aren't artistically talented, and who are more logically minded how to draw. I never drew so well before in my life.

I'm learning a lot about how it's done right now, but now how to do it. For example, there's this thing called rigging where you basically only have to attach a "skin" to a skeleton with set joints and such things, and then you can turn that over to the actual animation. Makes me feel better knowing one doesn't have to do each from scratch.

I find breaking up complex objects into simple shapes logical enough. And sketching with multiple short lines drawn quickly is actually a pretty good way of making precise curves; it's especially good for making circles without tools.
