Where Termite's cheap Pokemon OCs go to die.
Natalie appeared briefly in an anthropomorphic Pokemon (Gijinka) roleplay on the Pokefarm Forums.
Subject is a male Bulbous-Eyed Galvantula (Arachnos Galvani, strain Oculum). Age following final Joltik moult at time of documentation estimated at 11 months (Adult). DNA markers indicate origination from Pinwheel Forest, likely Feral Population A (West). Physical adaptations and strong DNA evidence suggest close interbreeding with local Scolipede (likely Population D [Coastal]), probably with specimen's immediate progenitors.
Cross-referencing of current cry interpretation database implies that specimen's designation among other subjects derives from signals indicative of 'extinguishment' as of light, 'buzzing' or 'hissing' and / or 'simmering' or 'sizzling', as of heated water. Most accurate English translation listed as 'Fizzle'.
Specimen's measurements are listed as: Weight, 12.7 kg ; Abdomen length, 39 cm ; Abdomen diameter, 31 cm ; Fang-to-spinneret length, 62 cm ; Palp length, 22 cm ; Average leg length, 73 cm (unbent) ; Height to abdominal carapace when in aggressive stance, 79 cm. Specimen possesses large eyes typical of subspecies and more subdued colouration common in feral city-dwelling Galvantula (cause unknown, presumed combination of natural selection and pigment bleaching by sun, electrical lights and window reflection). Specimen does not show positivity to testing for Gene 251 'SHINY'. Right anterior leg shows signs of regrowth; Original presumed lost in road accident. Specimen otherwise reported healthy. Researcher remarks that specimen's exoskeletal fibres are abnormally soft, and despite natural defensive behaviour towards human presence, specimen has been described as 'adorable' and 'cute, I guess, for a spider' while tranquilised.
Age estimate is based on behaviour in hunting tests. Specimen shows tendency to stalk and pounce on prey using pedipalps as typical of Galvantula old and large enough to hunt independently of their webs, however, once prey is cornered, specimen does not displays normal electrocution behaviour via conductive silk, instead opting for an immediate wide-reaching arc discharge. Examination of spinnerets reveal enlargement of structural spider web producers but little development in conductive or adhesive webbing. Notably, specimen has shown itself to be highly capable of climbing at speed in any given terrain, an abnormal trait implying close genetic and behavioural relation to a parent Scolipede. This behaviour occurs as a momentary decision and does not appear to involve prior calculation, however, specimen proved itself capable of solving mazes and navigating jagged surfaces when prompted by a food treat. Oddly, specimen began scaling the same mazes back and forth with apparent enjoyment, but stopped accepting rewards.
While in captivity, specimen displays expected caution, but soon relaxes and becomes docile among other Pokemon. Specimen requires significant aggravation to display threatening behaviour but is not exceptionally social towards other specimens until an interaction is induced. While relaxed, specimen exhibits an affinity for patterns and complex lines, often leaving other subjects in favour of tying and unravelling webbing in an area until it produces a pattern specimen finds satisfactory, then leaving it for another spot. Specimen noted to have a strong preference for build sites in close proximity with water, stagnant or otherwise. Though this behaviour does not appear intended to confuse other subjects, specimen seems to derive satisfaction from being left alone. While other subjects are asleep or elsewhere, specimen occasionally leaves its 'work' to mend or improve structures they have used without interacting with those subjects. Observers have compared specimen to human personality traits, primarily mildness, introversion, and artfulness.
Specimen was originally acquired in a permanent nest under Skyarrow Bridge, snatching passing aquatic Pokemon and city refuse. Close proximity to Pinwheel Road likely explains prior limb damage. Following stay under surveillance in captivity, specimen was tagged and released along with other subjects and is currently in residence in the experimental natural life section of Founder's Park, Castelia, though specimen has been observed escaping and returning for no apparent reason other than to watch the lights of passing traffic.

Name: Carrol Shannon. Although he doesn't dislike the name or its descendant Carl, he instead takes pride in his tribe's name, Shannon.
Species: Amaura.
Gender: Male.
Level: 8.
Moves: -Powder Snow
-Thunder Wave
-Growl
Shannon's voice, as is typical for his species, can be very forceful when need be, so even in his young age he can sound an intimidating cry. His icy power is not well-developed yet, but Shannon can breath a stinging gust of frost to defend himself. An early trick his species learns is to manipulate the charged particles powering his crest, releasing an electrical pulse to stun an opponent.
Bio: The Aurorus tribe from which Carrol came was made up of the Shannon family, and lead by elder Alaois Shannon. The Shannons occupied a wide range of tundra and taiga at the base of a series of near-Polar mountains, and their power serves as an indirect safeguard against other encroaching species. While Aurorus are not Pokemon inclined to combat, Alaois's Snow Warning amplifies the climate that keeps the territory exclusive, and gives strength to the other Ice-types, the task maintained by Abomasnow within the range itself. Carrol hatched into this peaceful environment, and from birth he looked up (in every sense of the word) to the towering figure of Alaois, even more so than he did his own parents. Carrol proved to have no lack of ability himself, although not a Snow bringer. Carrol could manipulate ice and aurora with subtlety and travel with endurance and patience. Crowning his talents, however, was his voice, singing clear and cheerfully along with his elders and peers among the Shannon.
Ceaseless efforts to impress Alaois and learn from him did not go unnoticed. The elder was aging, and Carrol seemed the perfect candidate for the next leader once he matured. Although talk was light and patient, it wasn't hard to predict what would have occurred: Alaois would pass on and his Snow Warning daughter Etna would lead until Carrol wooed her and took the Shannon into his care. The inevitable, unspeakable catastrophe took form in the eruption of a million-year dormant but monstrous volcano on the range above the tundra. Forests burned, glaciers melted, and the plains were covered in ash. Etna died by chance, crushed by a stone hurled by the explosion. Alaois never recovered from the loss.
Following the grief-driven death of Alaois, the Shannon left the plain for parts of their range that had fared better. The ecosystem, however, had been dealt a mortal blow. With no artificial cold on the plains and the permafrost irrevocably destroyed, the border of the Polar realm was pushed back, and tundra became fertile, if wintry, grassland. While other species eventually adapted to the warmer climate and more aggressive newcomers, the Aurorus had held the over-specialized niche of providing snow to a now-dead biome, and were not built for the rocky environment of the mountains. The Shannon, though leaderless, made the decision to abandon their home and their natural life rather than stand their ground and dwindle with the years. Carrol and his family migrated to seek a town where Pokemon of any type could shelter. The journey was not as long as they had expected, but the town they found presented a crisis: It was too small to support the entire tribe without crushing the native population under the burden. Two Aurorus stayed, but the remainder moved on. That was how the Shannon tribe died. No town could support them all, and they no longer fit into any natural habitat. At each settlement some departed.
Kiera and her son Carrol were strong and patient, though Carrol had been struck terribly by the death of Aloais. By the time the Shannon reached Allure town, they were all that was left, and they had traveled the furthest. Kiera supported herself in Allure with her strength and size, carrying smaller Pokemon when the need arose, knowing that despite their love her son would find another parental figure, as he had done before with Alaois. Carrol, indeed pining for a new hero to look up to, disillusioned by the death and separation he had seen, latched onto the most powerful figure in town, Arnold the Guildmaster.
Tap tap tap. A patient wait in the early morning chill, then a wooden latch opened. The stationed 'mon recognised neither the figure, nor the fuchsia glow in the darkness. Whoever had knocked had drawn back again. "Step into the firelight," the query came, perhaps with a little too much suspicion. Whoever it was didn't seem urgent for help. Then why this bothersome time of morning? "Why're you here? Who's knocking?" The figure approached calmly, and the lights revealed themselves to be crests above a pair of serene eyes. "My name is Carrol, for myself," the Amaura complied, in a melodic voice that promised peace, if not friendship. "But know me as Shannon, for those who are gone. I wish to join your guild."
Appearance: Shannon has a long, sweeping tail, at least in comparison to other Amaura, which helps him keep his lofty head balanced. Like others of his species, Shannon's crests change colour with mood, but they usually tend towards a purple-ish pink.
Differences: Shannon's level-up movepool will include more sound and song moves than usual. Moves learned will be Sing, Relic Song (although it has no extra effect for him other than being boosted by Refrigerate), and Perish Song.

Name: Durga...
Nickname: ...However, due to the near-mute nature of her decoy body, she has no way to communicate her own name. The community has named her Prop in reference to her comical balloon-like body and inability to get up from being pushed over without being propped up, both traits much to her frustration.
Pokemon: Wobbuffet.
Age: 20.
Gender: Female.
Crush: With no viable method of communication, Durga has no way to form close bonds anymore and she's come to accept all her affections as destined for disappointment.
Appearance: A flat, limp, wide-eyed black creature attached to a large, round, balloon-like blue body. Durga's body, like all Wobbuffet, has very weak muscles and poorly developed vocal chords, making her arms useful for little more than flopping about, her legs capable of little more than a gentle waddle, and her mouth unable to make complex sounds like words.
Personality: Exhausted, frustrated and increasingly desperate. Since her arrival as a Wobbuffet, Durga has received mockery at worst and good-natured ambivalence at best. With no way to initiate conversation, Durga struggles to make herself of any relevance to the many Pokemon she's met, and thus is usually very late to get even simple information. Durga's mute, clumsy body leaves her unable to distinguish herself as an individual with her own traits and desires. Understandably, her self-worth has dropped considerably since she became a Pokemon.
History: Human Durga was a social, open individual, kind enough to make friends and loyal enough to stay at their side when times grew rough. She had a handful of polyamorous relationships and was settling into adulthood when she was abruptly pulled into a Pokemon world. Already confused and afraid, she tried to adapt to her new body only to find it far inferior to her old one. She has spent long months trying to communicate who she was and where she'd come from to others with no success, learning about her surroundings at a snail's pace through conversations she can do no more than overhear, a period in which Durga's willingness to make or keep new friends began its way to collapsing.
Other: Prop's primary occupation is something of a village idiot, useful for nothing but being laughed at, but if Durga found a job she could perform with her weak body, she'd take it in a heartbeat. Her immense stamina and few psychic powers may be useful in a rescue team, if she can keep up long enough to get herself noticed, although she's never been in a battle before.
Rp Sample: At this point, Durga hardly noticed the movement of Pokemon around her. She'd seen them all a hundred times, knew their names, even, but while some of them glanced over with a small smile or the blank stare they'd give a tree, none of them spoke to her. Nobody had spoken to her in the sixty hours she'd been standing silent on the side of the road- She'd been counting the minutes, and she could probably keep doing that for days, if she tried. Her body didn't need much fuel.
But she didn't. Finally, deliberately, losing count, Durga raised her fingerless hands in the air and yelled, screamed her heartache into the town, but her lungs emptied themselves and went quiet, and her arms shuddered and fell down again. She'd made only a long, dumb groan, "Nyaaaaaaah." Some passerby had slowed down. "Oh, that's Prop," chatted one, apologising for the interruption with a chuckle, but not stopping. Durga felt like slapping them, but her arms were already too tired.

Natalie appeared briefly in an anthropomorphic Pokemon (Gijinka) roleplay on the Pokefarm Forums.
Gijinka
|| Name || Natalie Ameise. Natalie ('birth') is an irony considering her creation, and Ameise means 'ant'.
|| Gender || Female.
|| Age || 16.
|| Species || Genesect, the Paleozoic Pokemon.
|| Appearance || Natalie is not a feminine girl. Tall but muscular for her age, she can be mistaken for a boy or man from a distance. Complimenting this appearance is her hair, which she keeps extremely short. Natalie has a wide, toothy mouth that hardly suits her, except perhaps when grinning maniacally, although she is more often seen with a grimace. Her dark blue eyes are always touched by red even when she is perfectly wakeful. Oddly, eye contact with Natalie can induce slight double vision, making her appear to have two pupils in each eye. Natalie has large hands that make perfect fists, and have a very strong grip. She is fairly dark-skinned.
Natalie has never made any attempt to dress for appearance, far preferring coolness and ease of movement. Her typical set of clothes includes a sleeveless shirt and fairly loose, but not excessively long, pairs of pants closing in around her ankles, unaccompanied by shoes wherever they're unnecessary. All is coloured dull purple, for little reason other than preference.
Serious business is accompanied by a more sombre set of lightweight armour. The armour isn't a full-body suit, instead segmented to continue allowing her to stretch her joints and run at her best speed while protecting her limbs, torso and head from light impacts. The dark violet armour is usually worn over a tight grey suit covering body and limbs.
|| Personality || Competitive. Natalie Ameise is obsessed with power and hierarchy, be it social authority or capability in combat, and this drives most of her interactions. Towards those to whom she assigns inferiority, be they humans, Pokemon or Gijinkas, Natalie can be petty or tyrannical, although not to the point of sadism. Figures that she judges to be above her receive simultaneous caution and interest. Eager to learn and elevate herself, Natalie will imitate her superiors and observe them closely. Being equal to another individual is something Natalie is averse to, and if she can't discern between a superior and an inferior, she will engage with intense rivalry with any such entity until some kind of order is established.
Despite her keen interest and occasional respect for authority, Natalie refuses to acknowledge the concept of formality. Fiercely individual, she will never change her appearance or mannerisms to accommodate another's wishes unless she sees a direct and significant downside to doing so. This has been known to make her appear rude and disrespectful, even when no negative feelings are intended.
|| Special Traits || Through Genesect's power, Natalie did not receive a gift, but lost a constraint. Natalie's psyche holds no capacity for fear or panic. While she, like any other being, has a strong sense of self-preservation and distaste for pain, her 'fearful' behaviour is driven by logic as opposed to instinct or emotion. This 'gift' does, of course, is flawed in that Natalie can all too easily underestimate a threat she doesn't fully understand.
|| Partner Pokémon || Cyanide the Genesect seems to have created Natalie as a rival, and the two have a relationship based on one-upmanship, mentorship by example and respect, Natalie for Cide's power and Cide for Natalie's progress. Though Cide outperforms her in every way, Natalie is constantly encouraged or dared to match him.
|| Anything you'd like to mention? || Natalie's a slight chaetophobe, being irrationally annoyed or disgusted by hair, especially long, tangled or dirty hair.
|| RPing Example || [hide= ]The wind bruised itself against the pedestal of the Heavenly Abyss, but the cliff stood firm, allowing a gijinka a stable view from her sheltered perch. It was not that Natalie Ameise had cause to hide, nor would she otherwise choose to do so, but Cide was looking, and she intended to let him work for a conversation. Knowing he was looking had been simple- He'd been at none of his usual haunts, so he intended for Natalie to come searching for him. Cide wanted to talk, so Ameise hid. A simple mind game. Second nature. Natalie laughed into the air's rush, counting the minutes until she was found.
She didn't count long. A pebble fell from the cliff, and Natalie caught the signal. She ducked as she levered herself from the hollow, and a moving body zipped over her, unfolding into a figure that could have pushed her to the edge if Natalie was careless. Cyanide never played lightly.
"Time well wasted, if your refuge had been less predictable. Our God wants to discuss Mankind." No greetings from Cide. Facts were better. Natalie felt the wind on her arms in the open, and nodded, though she refused a shiver. She'd be glad to get back into Heaven. The halls were always warm, at least.[/hide]
Partner Pokémon
|| Name || Prefers Cyanide to Genesect, which he considers a title or model name. Will accept 'Cide' in combat situations or if your name is Natalie Ameise.
|| Assigned Gender || Typically referred to as male.
|| Species || Genesect.
|| Personality || Cyanide is of few words. What he teaches Natalie he teaches by example or challenge, letting her relying on her own talents. Sometimes Cide's challenges can be aggressive or even antagonistic, but he knows that Natalie will never turn them down. Although Cyanide generally behaves himself peacefully, he can make his disapproval known rather painfully when he is upset, especially to larger gods whom he knows can take it. The Genesect is never formal and has no regard for rules that aren't sufficiently enforced, similarly to his 'child'. He has a mixed opinion concerning humans. On the one hand, they resurrected him and he admires them; on the other, they're selfish, cowardly maniacs. Between these emotions Cyanide will spare or even protect humans he likes, and annihilate those he does not.
|| Ability || Download.
|| Moveset || Techno Blast, X-Scissor, Iron Head, Toxic. Techno Blast takes at least a half hour of rest to change type. Toxic is a specification unique to his model of Genesect, to which he owes his name.
|| Anything else? || Cyanide is not the only Genesect, he is the surviving Genesect. While several were produced of subtly different specifications and from different fossils, including the infamous Red Genesect, the insects turned upon each other and fought for supremacy, returning each other to the husks from which they came. Plasma Genesect Model No. 9 'Cyanide' is the survivor, for reasons he doesn't disclose.

|| Name || Prefers Cyanide to Genesect, which he considers a title or model name. Will accept 'Cide' in combat situations or if your name is Natalie Ameise.
|| Assigned Gender || Typically referred to as male.
|| Species || Genesect.
|| Ability || Download.
