The question can't be answered yet, but, the 20th century had two wars that pretty much everyone knows about, the 21st has been a bunch of controversy, so far. So unless 5 world wars are starting in 50 years it's pretty obvious.

Short of colonizing Mars or something absolutely remarkable like that, I'd say that the 19th century beats out the 20th and 21st combined.
