Freja simply cocked an eyebrow as the seemingly young man mocked her words. She looked at his back as he walked past, all light had disappeared from her eyes, making them appear even icier. She had clenched her sleeve the moment the man appeared, but as soon as it was clear that he was no immediate threat, she let go of it. "They get cockier every year." She simply said, assuming that the ill-mannered man was a student. Perhaps he felt awkward among these people he didn't know, but that was no excuse for acting the way he did. The snake by his side was unsettling, to say the least, but Freja wasn't responsible for the students' pets, so she let it slide.

He must've done enough to deserve what he got, that's not really what bothers me. It's his eyes. You know? Don't they haunt you in your dreams as well, the ones you ki-" She was interrupted by her own loud sneeze. She smiled rather sheepisly at Sabriel and chuckled. "But first things first. How about we drop our things at our rooms? I feel like taking a shower really."
