so now that we have enough people who said that they would join ill just start this thing :3
this rp is about our group of heros (you guys who want to join) that one day found a strange device with a game laying next to it in their doorway. the device looked kinda like an oculusrift
but had a slot to inserd a little game card. the game that was laying next to the device was put in a blank box and the game card itself was just black. ofcurse no one could just not try it out so our heros put the game in and tryed the device. at first nothing special happend just a screen with some numbers on it but then suddenly evryone who tried the device fell unconnsiusness. after a short duration they woke up and tried to take the device off but they werent able to grab anything. our heros startet to panick a bit as a netrual female computer voice spoke to them. "create your character" she said to our heros and a big character creation screen showed up with lots of options to custumaze your character.
from here on you guys are involved. because i dont want to bind you guys to to many rules ill leave most of it open to you. now i dont want you to write a character sheet right from the beginning (you can if you want to) but i want to hear your ideas for stuff for the character creation. there are basic things like gender or standart hairstyles but things like a race or classes and what weapons you can start with, these are things i want to hear from you. if things get a little over the top ill say so.
here are some notes or more like little rules:
1. your ingame character and your reallife character can be totally diffrent but you can also make then compleatly similar.you can make yourself a girl char even tho your a man in rl and you can also change your personality. i thought about personality settings that will allow you to play around with your in game personality which will force you to act like that. so even if your a shy person in rl you can make yourself a brave hero in the game.
2.all races need to be at least a little bit human. it would be really cool for example to play a full dragon that can eqip items and stuff but i think that wouldnt fit so well. but you can chose how human-ish you want to be. you can have like a cat class that is human but just has cat ears and tail or you can have a body fully coverd in furr like a khajit but it needs to be a bit human. will be a little special feature that ill maybe do but ill keep it a secret for now ;)
3. this little rule is about the weapons and classes. i wantet to bind special weapons to some classes only but i have not yet figured out weapons or classes (besides the basic stuff) but thats where you need to help anyways ^^ another thing with weapons is that ranged weapons are allowed but they should not be stuff like a HUGE cannon or a rocket launcher. stuff like a pistol or not-gun ranged weapons are ok (depending on the stuff you can come up with). for example stuff like bow and arrow or throwing knifes. another thing is that i wantet to allow secondary weapons and two difrent weapons at once. stuff like a small sword and a pistol or a big sword and some throwing knifes would be ok. i thought about maybe implementing a slot system but i guess ill just tell you guys if the stuff you do is ok or not. to much work doing slot system stuff and to many numbers >.> and now about the secoundary weapons. for an archer its deadly to have an enemy close by so it would just be logical that he carries a melee weapon. that would be the secoundary one. i didnt want these to be just like a normal little dagger or something but these should be special. the secoundary weapons will be things you can only use a few times during battle befoore they need to recharge and cant be used in the same battle anymore. these secoundary weapons should be stuiff like a magic chain that can pull you over to an enemy or like a little bomb that pushes away all enemies in an area around you. or pve stuff like a bomb that gives/takes away the aggro of a moob or multiple mobs. this are just a few ideas for stuff like that but guys please post your own ideas and never forget that you can change weapons but never change classes. (btw i think the secoundary weapons should be little boxes that you can activatet locatet somewehere on your body but you decide ^^)
4. another thing that is preaty close to weapons is magic. i want evry class to be able to use magic but not evry class should be able to use the same magic and with the same power. so basicly i dont want a heavy tank class to have spells that overpower the spells of a mage. i guess that preaty obvius but there is one problem with that. i wantet to implement magic as a skill tree so you can like chosse if you want to put points in magic or points in health and stuff like that but with that it would be able to have a tank class with strong magic but i guess its fine cause the spells would be mostly devensive :/ just let me know what you think about this im gonna decide later
5. like i mentiont above i want to implement stuff where you can put your points in. i dont want to do like a point system where you have like 10 points and gain more as you level up i just want you to say stuff like "my character is strong in using magic" or "my character is a good tank" just stuff like that so i can decide if the spells or things you do will match your character. propably gonna do a list and youll just say at what your char is good or bad at. will be easyer this way.
6. so now non battle skills: i want to implement stuff like that..... yeah thats about it...... still no idea how i want to do it but i want you guys to have skills like cooking or blacksmithing.....
7. NPC's : ill try to controll most of the npc's but stuff like buying things or just talking to a quest npc can be done by you guys. also if i cant handle to do the npc's ill ask one or two of you to halep me if they want.
EDIT: i quickly read trough this text and noticed that i didnt mention one thing about the world :<
8. the world will be a big open world style map with diffrent themed areas. i dont really have a world map or anything but i would be glad if one of you could like post one or draw one :3 the areas will be accesable for evry one and one area wount be harder then the others. the further you go into the temple of one area the harder it gets.
EDIT: and i didnt say anything about the tempels :<
9. there will be big tempels appearing in the different areas. they will spawn randomly and despawn if not explored for a period of time. you will only be able to see where tempels are when gathering the information inside of a town.
so yeah thats about it. i already have more things on my mind but im running out of time and i still want to hear your ideas. ill be away for a few hours and after that ill look at the stuff you all wrote. i think ill wait for like a day or two till ill make my final decicions so i that i can hear as many ideas as possible before starting. well yeah be creative guys and see you later

you can post a picture of your characters to describe thei apperence and pictures of your weapons but i would really like it if you guys drew pictures of your weapons. even i who sucks at art will try to do it ^^
