[IC] Prisoners-The Maze

Shadow spent most of her time in the maze. She had spent so much time in the maze no one knew that she existed. She had been in the maze when the ten other Gen 0s had died, and since then she had spent nearly all of her time in the maze. Only coming back in the dead of night. Gen 1 residents would never have seen her and Gen 2 and after definitely never saw her. But, Shadow's fighting skills kept her alive fighting against their predator. Shadow had seen the predator before but never talked about it, or left any hints for everyone else. After all she still didn't know the exit from the stupid maze. But, Shadow would return in an hour, at midnight. It was eleven, and both the room and the maze were dark.

Sleeth felt his eyes open and jumped to attention, hands raised up and he stepped back ready to hit anything near him. No, just here again in these walls with imagining sounds to wake him, he heard the screams again of the rest of his gen and never wanted to think that maybe this time it wasn't a dream. He'd been mapping a route for days, kicking the walls to leave scuff marks so he'd never go in circles. However despite hours of wandering he felt there was no end to be found. The end must he a hidden door, maybe on the ceiling. But he was hungry now and the pit in his stomach began to ache.

Max felt like he has been wandering the maze for the whole length of his life. Even though he has been walking the maze for years there has never been a clue to where the exit was. Max's eyes were slowly closing and he started to wonder if he were to fall asleep if he would ever wake back up. His head started pounding and he sat down trying to regain his strength. He started to think of the day that his whole gen was separated and half of them died. The screams and silence filled his head with endless sorrow. Max decided that he should get some rest and walk some more later.

Shadow leapt on to a wall. The walls were tall, but if you got on top of one you couldn't see the exit anyways, the maze was too big. Shadow stood on top of the wall, with her black hair billowing in the wind. Strangely there was wind in the maze. Shadow looked forward, she spotted the predator, it was walking along the top of the walls. Shadow followed the predator, when it finally stopped Shadow looked into the maze below, there was a teenager there ((Sleeth)). If the teenager was to look at the top of the walls he would see an interesting sight, there would be two black shadows, one looking as if it was about to attack and the other stalking the first.

Sleeth hadn't heard a noise of the two approaching, however when the limited light got even darker something had to be blocking it. He turned around first, then looked up, blinking for a moment before backstepping a few times. He wasn't going to be one to run, he'd lose his progress then he might aswell be dead. Instead he raised his hands, trying to quickly recall his training before being shoved in this hole. It had made him cold, colder than before but still he'd be ready encase he did have to run to try and find his way back.

The predator leapt at Sleeth, Shadow leapt down shortly afterwards. Shadow landed right between Sleeth and the predator. Both of them held up their hands, they were both sporting extremely sharp and long fingernails. The predator ran towards Shadow lashing out with its hand, Shadow raised her hands and blocked, protecting Sleeth.

Alen ran throughout the maze, just running and taking a turn when he needed too. He remembered the death of most of his gen, but didn't care about taht now. He had to find a way out of the maze, and get back to the real world, so he ran.

Myric moved silently through the maze. Her two color hair hid a part of her face as she walked but she didn't care. She had been in this hell for a year now and it still didn't get easier. She could still remember the faces of all the other people in her gen only herself and someone else were the last of gen five. She hated hearing the screams. The girl was almost like a wild animal now.

Shadow and the predator leapt onto the walls. Both of them leapt at each other, clashing midair. they both bounced back and landed on opposite walls.

[Sleeth]

Sleeth waited for the opportunity to move in, as he was about to an unkempt woman landed in front of him. However as the two clashed he took advantage of the moment, dashing forward. He did a half turn, putting all of his weight into a slashing kick to remove it's option to dodge to the sides. He hoped the impact to the wall wpuld keep it dazed for just a moment as he kicked for what he thought was the throat with complete force to crush the windpipe.

Max awoke from the constant ruckus in the near distance. He stood up and closely listened until he knew the general direction of the fighting. He got up and started run along the walls until he saw on top of the maze a woman and the predator fighting. The woman looked like she may get hurt so Max took off one of his shoes and beamed it at the predator hopeful to catch it's attention.

joe hid in the darkness and watched as a person walk bye [here we go again another person another meal] and picked up his bat off the ground and walked towards him and lifted his bat in the air and perpared to swing it 'huh?' the person looks around and screamed but he was quickly silenced as joe hit him in the forehead with the bat [gosh this is the 7th person i killed] the person falls to the ground with a thud and joe then he heard a sound and looked to the right and saw sleeth and but then saw him and 2 other people [max and shadow] fighting a monster then started dragging the dead body away to somewhere where he can eat in peace but then he hears a sound behind him and sees another monster,joe seeing the monster dropped the body and held up his bat to fight off the predator

The predator bared its teeth, and then shrieked. It was a high pitched shriek,that would stun most people. When. Sleeth attacked the predator's windpipe, it retaliated. It slashed his ankle with it's nails. When a shoe came flying at it, it merely swatted to away.

Shadow took advantage of the predator's destraction, and lashed out at it. It was amazing how similar their fighting styles were. Neither Shadow nor the predator had gotten weapons, they had instead sharpend and lengthened their nails. Both of them slashed and stabbed with their nails, but they also had incredible agility. Shadow slashed the predator's face and it leapt away before the others could discover its appearance.

Max noticing that his attempt to catch the predator's attention failed started to get ready to climb up the wall and use his close range bone shank against the predator. Max goes to the opposite wall to the one he wished to climb. Max ran up to the wall and with a swift push from one wall to the next pulled himself up to the ledge of the wall. Max got into stance to wait for the perfect moment to jump for the predator.

A slash towards the ankle considering the angle was as effective as the swat it used on the shoe. It set Sleeth off balance and he fell back, did this thing not want to kill him or was it truly stupid? Fast yes but as the boy watched he seen the sloppy and defective fighting style it had. Sleeth frowned, disappointed. If he were that fast the predator would be mincemeat but even though he was fast for a human against that he wouldn't make it. He looked again, waiting for a blind spot and once it was focused on the girl again he set another kick out for the back of the shoulder, a place where it's claws wouldn't even be an option.

The predator had one job, kill the maze residents without being seen and having its identity revealed. But, so far it had had one match, Shadow. The girl had the same fighting style as the predator. The fighting style may have seemed weak, but it had its advantages. With nails, once the predator stabbed something it could rip out its insides. It also could cut skin and arteries, seeing that nails were the second toughest bone in the body. The toughest were teeth, and both the predator's and Shadow's were sharp as well.

Shadow had fought the predator many times before. In fact the other ten Gen 0s had been killed by it. So Shadow did something reckless. She leaped at the predator and clung to it. She then dug her teeth unit it's neck. The predator then stabbed Shadow in the back. Both of them had been badly wounded. The predator retreated, leaving Shadow lying bleeding on the wall.

Sleeth frowned again as the creature retreated and went to the woman, looking at her back. "Don't move, at all. Just hang on for a moment." He says, taking the knife from his boot that he used to catch the rats ue was forced to eat. He didn't think it'd hurt too much to cut the back of her shirt and was careful not to touch the wound. "This needs to come off or it cant be treated."

"Well then take it off, Mr. Gen 4." Shadow told Sleeth. Spending so much time I the maze had made it so that she could identify what Gen someone was from. She looked towards Sleeth and smiled. Her sharp teeth covered in blood. "And that is your true welcome to the maze," she said, referring to the battle with the predator. Normally the predator snuck up on people, so combat with the predator was a rare sight.

He shred down the center of where the stab wound was, looking into it. They didn't have real medical supplies that he'd ever seen. Maybe deeper in? What was the point of such a big maze if just to let people starve or get sick. In one of these turns there had to be something. Since it was already cut off he used strips of her shirt as bandages, wrapping them tight to keep pressure on it. "That's the most there is to be done with the little we have here."
