Then you didn't read my post, and your character is seriously over powered. There is no reason you should have been able to do that from the center of a ring of swords, the most logical thing for you to do would have been to lead off with your lightning powers and break a whole in the ring so you could escape to the outside and then your speed would actually matter because you wouldn't let them reform around you.

Edit: Further more, these are knights. They've been training since they were squired as children. Which means anywhere from fifteen to thirty five years for most of them.
