Alright, so where should we all be at than? I left Myrn's back story vague location wise because I don't want to be causing a ruckus in Orlais when everyone is in Tevintar.

Somewhere in that big place called the Bannorn. Haven't really decided where the Sundown Hills bannorn is meant to be, might make it close to Lake Calenhad, for convenience sake.

A) Due to the rebellion (which is Ferelden gaining independence lead by King Maric Theiren) diplomatic relations with Ferelden may not have allowed armed Templars to enter Ferelden (even at the Chantry's behest). The reason nobody found out my character was a Mage was because she herself had no idea. It took a demon for her to remember. However once the Rebellion had been won the Templars came and attacked her. As for when she beat them they didn't attack her again, I'm uncertain. She could be protected in the Alienage by the other elves but there is some time before that where she was vulnerable.

I don't know what impact the conflict had on the Chantry/Templars entering Ferelden to be honest. But even if you're right then how did your character meet and marry a templar? The bigger question I feel compelled to ask is: how did your character forget she was a mage? If you add some more detail to these points it might make it easier for us to understand.

Answer these questions in your CS. For the most part this is just me nitpicking, but I would appreciate some clarity around how your character forgot she was a mage and about interaction with demons. You can consider you character accepted pending minuscule changes :)

I haven't checked, but eight humans and an elf, right? Not one Dwarf, or even a Qunari?

No one likes dwarves. :(

Also, my PC is half Kossith if that counts.

I actually had to look up what a Kossith was meant to be.I'll admit I haven't read your character sheet yet, so are you a follower of the Qun, or not?

Kathleen was born an orphan, her bloodline comes from a group of Kossith that landed in the southern Korcari Wilds in -410 Ancient. Thus, she descends from the survivors of that colony.

However, since she was never brought up in the Qun she does not hold their beliefs, someone born a Kossith does not automatically become a Qunari, it being a religion.

Anyway, that's why she's a giantess, and her background explains most of it. (though it only hints at the Kossith connection.)

How is it she's a Kossith? Considering the word is so very unknown, would mean that the Kossith people would have likely died out sometime ago. The Codex even mentions the Kossith 'birthed' Ogres, meaning the only Kossith still living are probably Broodmothers. Not to mention -410 ancient is almost a thousand years ago, if I remember the Dragon age timeline correctly.

Not trying to discourage you from this path or anything, just trying to make sense of it all.

Kossith is the racial term for the horned humanoids that make up the Qunari. Qunari are not a race, but the followers of the Religion known as the Qun. The majority who follow it is made up of the Kossith, that is, the giant horned humanoids. There was an offshoot of kossith (possibly unaffiliated with the Qun, no records to indicate otherwise) that settled into the Kocari Wilds before they were attacked by Darkspawn. Khan's character implies that there were a few survivors, who possibly mingled with local human populace and thus, how her character is partially Kossith.

The Codex makes no mention of them by all being captured, it's not hard to imagine some escaping capture as it never says they were wiped out. Also, the word Kossith is no longer used, the people, or 'race' is still very much alive, just known now as Qunari.

I agree. At worst you could say it's a grey area, but I don't think it raises any need to make changes.

There's actually some dispute around this, both due to conflicting in game sources and conflicting statements from writers. Some argue that Kossith is the race and that 'Qunari' refers to anyone who is a follower of the Qun. Some argue that Qunari is the race and that the religious term was named after them; these people often claim Kossith was an outdated term. And some argue that the Kossith were different to the Qun but were closely related, with the Kossith coming from the South and the Qun from the north. Either way this doesn't make an awful lot of difference to the 'current' setting and doesn't really affect Kathleen being a giantess. I just thought I'd kill this potential debate before it even started :P
